The vitality and energy within the flesh and core of the Flesh Construct were overwhelming, nurturing Cain's flesh, blood, and black hole. But for him, the true prize was the immensely dense amount of Depravita Essence he was absorbing. His True Name trembled continuously as this potent force filled every core that represented the essence of his existence, empowering him with every gulp.
The rest of the dragons watched from a distance. Nothing physically stopped them from joining in and consuming the other parts of the Flesh Construct. Even if the corpse was disgusting, the power it offered was tempting enough to consider. However, the energy they felt emanating from it—the same corruptive force they had fought against—made them hesitate.
None of the Ancient Dragons believed they could consume the flesh and energy of the Flesh Construct without falling prey to its twisted essence. This reluctance allowed Cain to consume the entire corpse without competition.
