We approach them. Adrian had an unreadable expression on his face. Whilst I was overwhelmed inside.
"Adeline, Where have you two been?" Brittany's asked
"What are you two doing here?" I answered her with a question. My eyes landed on William but he didn't meet my gaze.
"Oh, we initially made the reservation for ourselves but when you told me to set you up on a date with Adrian, so I decided it best we have a double date to make it less awkward for you two."
I wanted to chuckle.
Sometimes I feel my brilliant sister is kind of dumb too. No woman will think is best for her fiancé and her to have a double date with her ex-fling and her sister who is interested in her man.
Well, she doesn't know the last part.
