"Breath…. Good girl. Inhale. Exhale."
A voice guided me to come back to my senses. All the voices in my head shut down all at once. All the pain vanished. I felt safe. Warm.
I blinked, forced on the person sitting in front of me, holding my face in his hands. His icy blue eyes locked with mine. He sighed when he saw I was back.
My mind went numb for a moment as time stopped. My body felt paralyzed. All I could focus on was his enchanting eyes. So blue like a frozen lake. Yet I felt so warm looking into them.
As if I was imagining in the next second, his eyes turned cold, sending shivers down my spine. He pulled away from me and turned his back to me as if I stabbed him. It wasn't me who touched him.
'What just happened? He knew how to help me. He was confident with his moves? How?' Once he put some distance between us, my mind got back to work and my first thought rushed in.
That's right. He knew something I didn't.
