Cat
I run into the cave and Rin points at the watch on Rei's chest. It's moved, but it's not moving anymore.
The time is 7 o'clock. If in 3 years the clocked moved to 7 o' clock. It means an average of about 2 and half years.
Coincidentally that equals 1000 days.
"They will wake up in a 1000 days. Approximately another 3 years." I tell everyone my theory and explain how I came to that conclusion. They all look at me funny.
"Look, since I was a kid I was convinced I'm a cat in a human body. Toya joked about Cat's having 9 lives and asked me for one of those lives. I was confused about why it's specifically 9. I started getting obsessed with time theories. So when it comes to calculating time, I know what I'm talking about. I know I didn't make an error. It's exactly 1000 days."
"What if you're wrong?" My mother asks.
"Does it really matter? Fact is that in 3 years of sleep the clock moved an entire 7 hours." My sister states and I nod my head. Exactly sis, you help me banish the negativity in this room.
"Actually it moved 19 hours." Rin adds.
He calls everyone over to the monitoring desk, and we get to watch what actually happened.
The bodies started showing signs of movement when the clock started moving. At 3, 6, 9, and 12. There was movement.
"Wait, go back to 10.54." Mom says.
Rin goes back to that moment specifically. He zooms in and Rei's eyes opened here.
Their bodies movements distracted us from paying attention to their eyes. They all opened their eyes at 12:00. So when the clock strikes midnight. They will be waking up again.
I sigh in relief. This is good news. It's the best news I've heard in a long time.
"I can't wait. I'll get to preparing the guest rooms. They'll stay with me for a while." My sister says and I shake my head.
"This will be their house. This city is the safest. Far away from prying eyes and the general public." Rin says.
We get a tour of the house and I must say. Security is on point. Child safety is on point. Comfort is on point.
"This is also my travel door. people with access can open the door and use it to go anywhere. The person can also use any door as a gate way to this one. Only Toya can use it. It will take anyone else outside." Rin mentions as the tour ends showing us an ordinary looking door leading to the backyard.
The house is a huge mansion, has an even bigger yard space, underground parking, and some insane security tech installed.
Please come home in time Toya. Please.
