Gohan was taken to an isolated cell, and Ki Nullifier cuffs were placed on him to prevent him from using his energy to escape from there.
"May I ask how you found me?" Gohan looked at Merus with a curious smile.
Merus was accompanied by other members of the Galactic Patrol, including one that Gohan knew well from the series, Jaco.
"We detected the signal of a planet exploding and sent a team to find out what happened, and we saw your wounded body floating"
"While we were treating your wounds we found out your identity and we brought you to the patrol headquarters" Merus answered quite seriously.
"Oh, then I must thank you, if you hadn't healed me I'd be dead" Gohan smirked, "But I still don't know why I'm detained"
"You took over hundreds of planets without any permission and caused the destruction of one" Jaco was the one who intervened at the moment.
"Well, that planet was totally uninhabited, or am I wrong?" Gohan asked as that was the first thing he assured.
None of those present spoke, since they only received the signal because the planet was in their area, and not because of people's cries for help.
"Second, where were you when Frieza and his family were terrorizing and colonizing the galaxy?" Gohan inquired looking at Merus.
More than two trembled upon hearing the name of the evil emperor. Gohan understood that if they didn't act it was out of fear of Frieza's power.
"You were scared, right? I was the one who killed Frieza, so I rightfully claimed the empire from him" Gohan exclaimed with an imposing tone.
"Have you ever wondered if all the planets want to be under your command?" Merus asked.
"Have you ever wondered if this galaxy needs you as patrolmen?" Gohan returned that question leaving them speechless.
"W-what do you mean?" Jack asked.
"A patrolman's duty is supposed to be to defend and protect the galaxy, or am I wrong?"
"I didn't see any patrolmen when I fought Frieza or Cell, where were they when the galaxy was in danger?" he asked seriously.
Again no one answered the question. Gohan smiled knowing that he had shut them up.
"So you don't have the right to claim anything from me" Gohan closed his eyes, "But I'll listen to what you have to tell me in your judgment"
"It will be tomorrow morning" Merus said no more and turned around. The other patrolmen followed him and Gohan was left alone in the cell.
'I find it curious, but I'll stay and see what the hell they have to tell me' Gohan closed his eyes and put his hand to his bandaged abdomen, "Ugh"
If he was alive it is because his spirit was not destroyed, but he hoped that there would be no sequelae, and now he should heal his wounds.
"I doubt he'll use that technique again" Gohan sighed thinking of his planet, "How will they all be there? The important thing is that they're safe"
He never thought that Cell was such a difficult opponent, he hadn't been the most difficult but he was the one that caused the most problems to defeat him.
Gohan sighed again and settled into the bed that the cell had, until he suddenly heard a voice in his head, "Are you Shenron?"
"That's right Son Gohan, I have to take you to planet Earth at the wish of the current Kami-sama" Shenron's imposing voice was heard in his head.
After they found out that Gohan was alive, Dende asked for his second wish to bring him back, but for this, Shenron would ask for permission.
"Hey Shenron, would you let me say a few words?" Gohan asked with a smile.
Meanwhile on Earth, everyone was looking forward to Gohan's arrival, they never believed that he would survive.
"Without a doubt that brat is someone incredible" Raditz crossed his arms smiling happily.
'The gap between us is huge at this point, that dwarf'! Piccolo smirked, he had to train a lot to surpass Gohan.
"Hey! Hey everyone! It's me Gohan, I'm speaking through Shenron" Gohan's voice came out, and immediately they looked everywhere.
"Where are you brat?" Raditz asked.
"In a far away place! I want to take care of some business and continue training before going back there, so don't worry about me."
"Dad, tell mom to forgive me because I'll be gone again, but I promise I'll be back one day" Gohan stated happily.
"Good luck son, we'll be waiting for you!" Goku exclaimed with a smile, but let's see how he said it to Chi-Chi, 'Sigh, complicated night'
"Despite being the most powerful, he continues with the purpose of continuing training" Tien showed a smile, "I will also increase my power!"
"I think that's something we'll all do," Piccolo chimed in, knowing that he more than anyone should train hard to catch up.
They laughed for the first time so far this day, because everything had a happy ending and at least now they knew that Gohan was fine, but far away.

"After saving the Earth, that's the last thing you can ask for," Raditz declared, smiling.
18 clenched his fists, maybe it bothered him that Gohan didn't relax after his most difficult battle, or maybe he wanted to have him closer and not so far away.

It was already fully dark, and 18 was sitting on the grass outside. Perhaps, inquiring into what would be of their lives at this time.

"Oh, well, you did make a good bet" a voice sounded next to her and 18 was startled to see Gohan present in that place and also next to her.
"Y-you! W-what are you doing here? How did you know I was here?" 18 asked rather puzzled.
"First, I was bored and second, I went to Gero's lab to find out your location"
"And third, were you thinking of me?" Gohan asked a bit surprised and 18 blushed.
"W-what would I do thinking about you? A-also don't change the subject, what are you doing here?" 18 asked hiding the blush she showed.
"I came to say goodbye, maybe I won't be back for a while" Gohan stood up, "Now don't change the subject, were you thinking about me?"
"I said no!" 18 pushed him causing Gohan to fall on the grass but Gohan grabbed her hand and she fell on top of him, "You're quite heavy!"
18 blushed and clenched her fists annoyed at her, but Gohan with a quick movement avoided the slap she was going to give him and sighed calmly at that.
"Hey that's unfair, I'm weak and you're taking advantage of that" Gohan pointed his index finger at her, and 18 got into a battle pose.
"Didn't you presume to be so powerful?" 18 asked sarcastically, "Show me!"
18 flew towards Gohan, who blocked the attack with his right hand. However, 18 gave him a big knee to the abdomen and knocked him down.
"Now who's boss?" 18 looked at him with a challenging smile, but suddenly Gohan swept her feet away, and she was the one who was left on the ground.
"Of course me hehe" Gohan smirked, "Maybe in a few years you'll beat me, until then keep practicing!"
"Wait!" 18 yelled but Gohan disappeared at the moment of her leaving her alone, and wanting more.
"Hey, who were you talking to?" 17 left after hearing some strange noises. He was surprised to see her sister suddenly laugh, "Ahh, women!"
'I'll wait for you here, no matter how many years pass' 18 closed her eyes, smiling at her brother's gaze. And elsewhere Gohan did the same.
