*Ring*
"Mm~"
Boruto slowly opened his eyes, he glanced to his left and saw Himawari sleeping peacefully.
He looked over to the alarm and saw the time, it was already 8:00 AM, he got up and took Himawari in his arms.
He went downstairs while carrying her, he walked towards the crib and carefully placed her down.
"Boruto, go take a bath and get ready, we're going to your grandpa's place"
Boruto gazed at Hinata and nodded, she was knitting a scarf while Naruto was arranging the dishes.
[30 Minutes later]
Boruto and his family were now heading towards the Hyuga estate, After a couple of minutes, they finally arrived at their destination.Hinata rang the bell.
*Ding*
"Coming!"
A feminine voice came from the other side, the gate quickly opened and revealed a gorgeous young lady in her teens.
"Big sis!"
Hanabi exclaimed before she pulled Hinata in a hug, the baby was with Naruto, after they exchanged some small talk all of them entered the estate.
"Boruto, let's sit here... You're mom need some privacy with her father"
Naruto said while gesturing for him to sit beside him, Boruto nodded and sat beside Naruto.
"Hello Boruto, My name's Hanabi, you can call me big sis Hanabi..ok?"
Hanabi hastily took a seat near him and started a small convo, Boruto nodded and answered all her questions.
"So...what do you like to do in your free time, like your hobbies or anything?"
Hanabi asked while serving tea for Naruto and Boruto, he pondered for a while before responding.
"I like...um..I guess, training and fighting?"
Boruto had an innocent look while replying to her, Hanabi grew puzzled at his answer, she instinctively shot a glance towards Naruto.
Naruto shook his head saying he ain't involved in this.
"Why training and fighting? You're 3...Do you have some reason to like it?... Like, do you want to become Hokage or something?"
Naruto was also slightly curious, he waited for Boruto to respond.
'Is that even something you ask a 3yr old?'
Boruto internally sighed.
"....I don't know, I just like it...is it weird?"
He asked as innocently as he could.
"No!,No No No, it isn't weird at all, infact, I was the same as you, I loved fighting"
Hanabi hastly replied, A visible sweat was revealed on her forehead.
"Oh...I didn't know that, I thought you liked to lay on the grassy field all-day"
Naruto expressed his thoughts, Boruto slightly shook his head, Hanabi got up from her position and went towards one of the rooms.
*Knock*
"Can we come in big sis? Boruto said he wants to see father"
'When did I say that?'
Hanabi just sheepishly smiled at Boruto,
Naruto patted his shoulder and said he should be ready for these situations, and these are gonna often happen.
"Come inside, Let me see my grandson"
An aged voice echoed from the other side of the door, Hanabi waved her hands gesturing for both Naruto and Boruto to enter.
*Slide*
"We're coming"
Hanabi informed before entering the room, the other two also entered after her, Hiashi was sitting infront of a small table.
His eyes quickly fell on Boruto's, Hiashi's eyes narrowed at him, Boruto seems to notice this and gazed back at the old man.
Hiashi's pupil slightly shrunk when they both made eye contact, but he quickly regained his posture.
'Am I hallucinating or...did I just feel fear?.....What am I even saying, he's just a little kid, it's probably because of my old age'
Hiashi internally shook his head before dispersing those thoughts, His face formed a warm smile after he again inspected Boruto.
"Come here"
Hiashi spoke, Hanabi pushed his back, Signaling him to walk forward.
Boruto looked at Hiashi and walked over towards him, Boruto stood infront of him..he was expecting him to say something cold or something about being the clan heir, but Hiashi's next actions surprised him.
"Come here young man! Give grandpa a big hub! Hahaha!"
Hiashi pulled boruto into a tight hug, He squeezed him with tears of joy.
'The heck! oh....I forgot, this guy became a softie'
"G-grandpa, i-i'm suff-...ocating"
Boruto was somehow able to speak, Hanabi quickly rushed in and separated both of them.
"Father!, Do you want your grandchild to hate you"
She shot a glance towards Hiashi, his face became a little pale thinking about how his grandchild will view him.
"No! I was just too happy to hold back"
Hanabi ignored him, she kept Boruto in her embrace.
'Man...I don't even remember the last time I was caught off guard while I had my eyes on the enemy'
Boruto already stabilised his breathing, the color in his eyes slightly dimmed when he remembered his past.
"C'mon Hanabi, Father wouldn't purposely hurt Boruto"
Naruto tried to make reason with her only to receive a glance from her, meanwhile, Hinata was just giggling under her breath.
"Looks like Boruto got an overprotective aunty now"
Hinata commented while suppressing her giggles, only after Hinata's words did Hanabi release him.
Hanabi looked into Boruto's eyes, they had several emotions, She grew quite worried.
"Look at what you did father!, I'm taking him...c'mon Boruto let's go outside"
Hanabi's words made Boruto snap out of his trance.
"Huh?"
He looked quite puzzled, However, Hanabi lifted him up and started walking towards the backyard.
'Did something happen?'
They reached the backyard, The sight was simply breathtaking for Boruto.
A small pond with several stones around it, birds chirping, a small tree besides it, and quite a large sum of bamboo trees, the sunlight made the sight even more beautiful.
"Woah"
Boruto blurted out before approaching the small pond, Hanabi walked behind him with a warm smile.
"Isn't it beautiful"
"Mhm"
Boruto nodded, he looked at the lake and saw his reflection, he scarcely touched his reflection.
'I'm not Arthur anymore...i'm Boruto'
Those thoughts rang through his mind, his face was indifferent on the outside.
Hanabi sat on the ground, Boruto also did the same, Silence enveloped the environment... But it was broken by Hanabi.
"So...you like to train and fight right, what about I train you"
'Not that I need any from you...but I need a sparring partner to get into shape'
"Really?"
Hanabi nodded with a gentle smile as she ruffled his hair.
"Of course, your big sis will always be there for you"
