"What do you mean he's not here" I snarled at Lance, Lance being a low-rank werewolf lowered his head in submission
If Elliot isn't here then he's got a plan and that didn't sound ao good.
"So do you by any chance know where my lovely brother is off to?"
"No, my lord but you said you would be here a week ago and since you didn't come I figured that's why lord Elliot went on that business trip".
"I can't believe Elliot can be this disrespectful I am his king for god sake," I said stamping my feet repeatedly.
"What all the fuss here? "Lizzy asked as she walk down the stairs.
"Eric, you came and didn't look for me? men that hurt." Lizzy said feigning sad
I approach her and wrap my arm around her in a hug pretending not to see the look on her face.
"How are you little sis," I asked kissing everywhere on her face...its an old habit of my., no matter the woman that comes into my life Lizzy will always be my first lady, she was the apple of I and Elliot eyes the only thing we ever agree on
"Let's go to the garden, "she said and took my hand leaving no room for objection

"So where was this kanima spotted "I asked my board of alphas.
"They have become plenty in my territory, my lord, "alpha Roman of red sun pack said
"Well, I had a personal encounter with one a few weeks ago those creatures are so slippery you wouldn't even notice" alpha William of brown desert pack added.
Three hours later the meeting was over now I had to head home cause Lance called this morning.
"My lord what are you going to do about your brother "Jedrek asked pouring himself a scotch in my office.
"You don't have to be so formal when we are alone Jedrek". Jedrek was not just my beta he was my best friend we have known each other since we were little boys he was eric's best friend but whén he found out the kind of person he was he left him...
"I have a plan" I simply said standing up to leave.

We left for home and on the way, the case we discussed in the meeting came to mind.
Kanimas we're shape shifters that could take any form ranging from werewolves to vampires and even demons most importantly humans.
They are very dangerous because of this ability and their presence in my territory was a sign of trouble. This would all lead to war.
