Days went by quickly and I still haven't found a job and our resources were running dry. some neighbors were kind enough to lend us some basic things like salt and oil etc.
Today I set out again with the hope of finding a job that doesn't involve me selling my body because the only jobs available were at the brothel, but I swear if I don't find anything at the end of the week I will certainly go to Mr. Alvin's bar I know he treats his girls better than other whore houses and for some reasons only the high-class people go there

"I wonder if Lance wants to continue this way, we desperately need a good baker lady Lizzy can manage but we all know how lord Elliot loves pastries like a kid"
I listened more to two ladies gossip about a certain butler who loved someone that died and then the owner needed a kitchen staff I decided to try my luck by approaching them
Then we're both Asian and then the saw me coming the choppy one said something to her colleague but in maderine which I did not understand
"I'm sorry but I could not help but to listen to you two talk about a needed kitchen staff and I desperately need a job so I.."...choppy face cut me off by saying" what makes you think you got what it takes"
I wanted to defend myself when the both started laughing I'm sure the face I made was priceless they finally stopped laughing then the thinner one said to her acquaintance
"Let's not judge Agnes she can come for an interview with Lance then we would know if she's up for it or not"
The choppy face which I now know as Agnes didn't seem pleased but her colleague was okay they gave me the address and said I head there immediately.

Lizzy pov
"Lance I simply can't eat this cabbage it's been weeks since magrates death and you still haven't found a replacement."
As always apologies but I knew it would be the same thing tomorrow. I don't know what was his problem with hiring a new baker.
Elliot left earlier than usual today and that was strange though I prefer not to see him.
I was planning on moving out. anyway for crying out loud being alive for three hundred years I was a billionaire in the human world but I thought staying with Eric or Elliot will help knit our relationship but unfortunately, Elliot loved his career more than anything or anyone even himself.
I know he sometimes thinks I loved and prefers Eric to him but one thing I know is that they are both my big brothers and I loved them equally
After finishing up my food I left for the studio I haven't been there since Eric's last visit.
