THE PRESENT
I smiled brightly as I ran my fingers through the keys of the piano. It was the piano I loved and still loved, that antique shop's grand piano. He had bought the piano I loved. He had kept it with him in a separate beautiful room in his house.
My eyes hurt when I opened them, I couldn't remember how many times I'd been by Abaddon. The room was lit my sunlight but it was still not enough light coming in.
The room spun for a moment as I struggled to sit upright, the weakness in my body making even this simple task a challenge. I glanced around, my surroundings hazy and unfamiliar, as I tried to gather my bearings.
