The blindfold covering my eyes was torn away, and I blinked rapidly to adjust to the dim lighting that surrounded me. As my vision cleared, the unsettling reality of my situation came into focus. Before me stood Abaddon, his presence exuding an aura of malevolence that sent shivers down my spine. Beside him stood a man whose features seemed vaguely familiar, though I struggled to place where I had seen him before.
"Hi, sweetheart. Is my brother treating you well?" Abaddon chuckled darkly as the man next to him left the room.
"Better than this, at least." I twisted my hands to let go of the rope that tied my hands together.
Abaddon's chuckle reverberated within the room, a chilling sound that contrasted sharply with my determination. "Ah, but we can't have you unleashing that fiery spirit of yours, can we?"
