Yao Wang had promised to let those ladies live because they were obedient bitches and he really wanted to let them live because he was, of course, excited about the things he had found, but then some demon bumpkin wants to go against his words. Isn't that bumpkin seeking for his own destruction?
The dagger that he took out was the cause of the change in the atmosphere.
Although it was strange and suspicious, he didn't bother because the person who gave it to him was standing right in front of him. In fact, destroying Damian would also be a benefit to that person.
Damian's body shuddered when he saw the dagger, one that was revered by the chronicles of the past life demons for its high proficiency in the act of killing and other vile purposes.
You, now you have given me a real chance to extort from you. Give that dagger to me or you'll end up here.
"That's great."
Yao Wang sneered, then he made an inverted cross slash in the air, which was visible to others because of its red glow and the pressure it emitted.
"Seal."
Following those words, the glowing inverter red crosses darted through the hair like missiles in the direction of Damian's chest. Unfortunately for the latter, he was just a few inches away, thus increasing the strength of the attack by many folds.
The others expected something like an explosion when the inverted crosses got to Damian, but they were very wrong. All that they could see was the light entering into his stomach, the area where the dantian resides precisely.
Damian, on the other hand felt something as hot as lava rush into his dantian in the form of venomous cobra snake.
This was the "Dantian imprisonment" technique, in other words, demon sealing techniques that were mostly practiced by the Immortal Squadron clan and other clans who major in demon hunting.
The one that Yao Wang used was even the most difficult to unseal, and it can only be practiced by people from certain clans having high rankings.
With this technique, Yao Wang adopted one of the high-ranking knights of the late emperor. The knight, although having high ranks, was not considered precious by the emperor because, even after several weeks, the emperor did not show concern.
Unfortunately, the knight did not have anything useful to free himself other than a sliver-covered book that contained "Dantian imprisonment."
He took it, before finally giving the knight the freedom he deserved, which was no other than death.
This dantian imprisonment only works on demons or demonic cultivators. When it's in effect, the cultivator will experience something like a cobra inhabiting their dantian, sealing the powers inside from being used and also preventing essence from entering it.
As to how to remove this effect, Yao Wang had never heard of it, but he was pretty much certain that no matter what, Damian wouldn't be able to remove it by himself.
Damian gritted his teeth in rage. All the strength that he was once proud of was gone just because he underestimated Yao Wang.
Unfortunately, he was a demon, and he did not have any idea of anything concerning demon sealing. Why would he? Demon sealing techniques were salt to him, and he was a worm, so they could coexist no matter what.
Before they could say anything, the legacy tomb began to fade away like an erased drawing, and they found themselves in a vast desert teeming with people, vehicles, helicopters, and private jets.
Among the crowd were reporters from popular TV channels. Seeing the phenomenon of the tomb disappearance, they immediately knew that the tomb had been cleared and started moving like wild animals to where the raiders were.
Yao Wang noticed two people, and there were no other people than Lu Xia and Lu Wu, the patriarch and matriarch of the Immortal Squadron clan, coming to check if their clansmen were okay. Of course, there were with other members of their clan, but no matter how they searched, they didn't even find something as small as an aura trace of their clansmen, which made them pretty suspicious and enraged at the same time.
Damian, with enraged eyes, moved himself away from the crowd and walked to one of the private jets. He opened the door and climbed into it.
The pilot of the jet was no other person but Oscar, his uncle, who was more than interested in hearing what Damian had gotten from the legacy tomb, which he knew very well was a demonic one.
The private jet soared up and began flying at a considerable speed.
This was done by Oscar to ensure no one heard their conversation.
"So how was it?"
*Teeth gritting*
"Wait, why can't I feel any cultivation from you?"
He only realized this now because he was carried away thinking about the rewards.
Damian's eyes were bloodshot. He didn't even answer Oscar and instead stared out of the jet's window desperately.
While in the plane, Oscar tried his best to make Damian speak, but the latter was too adamant and didn't alter a word.
Whether it was because of embarrassment or guilt that made him not speak, no one knew.
Meanwhile, at the dessert, Collins assembled the survivors to inquire about their experience inside the tomb in a professional manner when he inquired about the items they found.
The three ladies cheerfully brought out the stuff they had gotten from their spatial rings.
These ladies did not know why, but they felt more than excited to leave the tomb alive. They didn't know why, but they felt like they were at the gate between the dead and the living, but somehow a powerful force appeared and pushed them back to the living.
Out of 47 raiders, only 19 survived, including Lin Tian, Yao Wang, and Damian. The others were members of Lin Tian and Yao Wang's group.
A few hours before the tomb was completely cleared, they were found and killed by Damian because of the long-time enmity between the Immortal squadrons and the sacred demons.
He obliterated them and sucked them into his hands, which, by coincidence, will no longer function for as long as the time may be.
Finally, Yao Wang and others entered the helicopter which took them out of the desert to the Central Hall.
At the Central centre, their rewards of a million dollar was given to them, but to Yao Wang what he have got was definitely more than the even thirty million.
