Heavy footsteps were heard inside the mansion. Everyone is busy running and pacing. A large explosion was felt during the middle of a meeting,
"Alpha, the explosion was felt in the south east, near the lake of Madeira" a man informed to the man who was seating behind an old oak table.
"Gather the pack we will check the lake's perimeter" the alpha said with authority.
Victoria's P.O.V
My senses start working again, I felt like am falling… I opened my eyes just to see that I am in fact literally falling from the air. I tried to flap my wings just to realize it was gone. I let out a scream and start panicking, and I saw myself enveloped by a large body of water. I guess this would be the end of me. Then, everything went blank.
Someone's P.O.V
I was having my good nap when I felt vibration on my territory. It couldn't be humans. No one will ever step to this place, not unless the Blood Moon pack will summon me, this is my sanctuary, and Alpha gave it to me. What could possibly cause that impact? I swam towards the source of the vibration and was taken aback to see a naked woman in front of me. She seems delicious, but my mind told me that there is something about this woman, that will make me regret eating her. She was unconscious, but I can still feel her weak pulse. For a while, I was stuck battling with myself whether I will eat her or not, but I end up dragging her out of the lake before she will completely drown and die. I left her on the ground and watch her from a far. After a couple of minutes I saw her gasps for air, but what surprised me was the two big pair of black and white wings that sprouted on her back as she was brought back to her consciousness. Things happened so fast that with a blink of an eye her wings were gone again. I can't believe what I saw. A half blood like me, maybe that's the reason I don't want to eat her. Ugh!
Suddenly, I heard howling inside the dark forest, the blood moon had arrived to check the perimeter. I glance back to the woman but she was gone. I swam back to deep part of the lake. Wondering about the woman's identity, I hoped we will meet again.
Victoria's P.O.V
All I thought it was the end of me, when suddenly energy flows through my veins. As I gasp for air, I felt a sudden jolt of pain behind my back. I felt my wings grew back and then gone again. I felt devastated with my aching naked body and being wingless. I wonder how I was able to come out of that lake.
I felt vibrations on the ground and howling was heard, with aching body I tried to run as fast as I could. I tried to shift but I failed. I stopped running and tried to concentrate. I saw a funny looking, wingless dragon attached to a tree, I tried to shift into like it. I tried but again, I failed. I can hear the running footsteps getting nearer and nearer. I tried once again "please, come on…please, work out." luckily it was successful, I blend to a tree trying not to get caught.
A pack of wolves started to appear, determined I keep myself hidden. According to the scrolls I read when I was young, wolves are territorial and vicious. I don't want to be slaughtered here, not tonight, not ever. While I was busy fighting inside my mind suddenly I felt a sweet scent I cannot distinguish, I felt comfort and the same time its screams danger. It was so new to me. Suddenly a big wolf appeared with its jet black fur that has golden eyes. I saw him lift his nose and sniff the air. Suddenly I saw him looked at my location, he looked confused. I shivered under his stare almost makes me lose my concentration. I slowly climbed the tree hoping that I look convincing. He let out a one long howl and minutes later they are gone.
