As she woke up in her house, she let out a huff and greeted the morning with a smile, "Good morning, Ember. I am eagerly waiting for the night."
Getting up, she prepared herself for college, asking her mom, "Mom, is breakfast ready?"
Her mom replied, "Yep! You woke up without my call."
"Yes, I did," she replied.
"Okay, come and eat your breakfast."
When her father saw her up so early, he exclaimed, "Oh! Dear, you're early today."
"Yes, good morning, Papa."
After finishing breakfast, she headed to the bus stop. Within a few minutes, the bus arrived, and she took her seat. Every second of the journey was filled with thoughts of Emir. She asked herself questions and provided answers, "What is he doing now? I think he is sleeping at this hour. When I arrived there, it was morning, and when I left, it was nighttime. So, he must be sleeping."
Upon reaching the college, classes began, but her thoughts continued unabated, "When he kissed me, it made me realize that he is real. He's not just a thought." This thought brought a smile to her face. The first half of the day passed quickly, and soon it was time for lunch.
During the break, Ember went to the library and noticed Sofia standing nearby. "Hey, what are you doing here?" she asked.
Sofia explained, "I was late to the bus stop and missed the bus."
"It's okay. The library is a good place to be," Ember replied. "By the way, can you give me the notes from the business lecture?"
"Sure," Sofia agreed.
Time flew by, and it was time for Sofia to leave. "Bye," Ember said as she waved while heading towards her bus.
"Hey, wait! Can we be friends?" Sofia asked suddenly.
"We are already friends, don't you know?" Ember replied with a smile. They bid goodbye to each other.
After reaching home, her mother greeted her, saying, "Welcome back." Ember asked, "How was your day, Mom?"
"It was good, and yours?"
"Yep, it was good," Ember answered.
After freshening up, the family sat together for dinner. Ember inquired, "What's for dinner?"
"Biryani," her mom replied.
"Great! It's my favorite," Ember exclaimed. After dinner, they watched TV for a while.
"It's quite late now. Both of you should head back to sleep," her mom suggested.
"Okay," Ember and her brother replied in unison, running off to their rooms.
"I'm really excited to see Emir again," Ember thought as she drifted off to sleep, a smile playing on her lips
