Qiao Jing was led by Zhan Qipei all the way out to the bar.
It was only when they reached a less crowded area that Zhan Qipei finally released Qiao Jing's hand.
The stifling feeling in his chest seemed to have finally found an outlet.
Zhan Qipei turned around with a gloomy face, his dark eyes meeting Qiao Jing's beautiful ones.
"Why were you drinking with Wu Xirui? Didn't you tell me that you two were just doctor and patient? Does being doctor and patient include going out for drinks at night?"
Qiao Jing frowned slightly, displeased by the accusation and retorted without answering.
"Didn't you tell me you had a very important meeting?"
Zhan Qipei was startled for a moment, realizing it was he who had lied first. His tense expression softened, and his tone became much gentler.
"You first answer me, why were you drinking with Wu Xirui?
Also, you clearly saw me, so why didn't you come over to find me, but stayed there drinking with him?"
