Silver's jaw dropped. He had really passed. The black mist around the city had disappeared. Suddenly and without warning, the flow of energy coming out of the shrine dome stopped.
The barrier protecting Kamsara fell, and the commander feared the worst. 'It's the end,' he thought. However, the opposite happened. The black mist disappeared.
It was as if the mist fled from the city, crept through the trees, through the mountains, and disappeared over the horizon.
Silver was in the highest part of the city. On the roof of the Governor's building. A brown tower with ornate walls. The commander could see the forests that were previously covered by mist. He could see the green mountains. He could see the streams that snaked through the hills.
He was able to see… the nature that was previously hidden under a layer of darkness.
"It's not possible...," he muttered.
"Commander?" Jaex spoke from behind him. "What does that mean?"
