Rays of beautiful, golden sunlight coming little by little from the delicate, white beautiful lace curtains went on my face and woke me up to this beautiful morning. I went to the terrace to feel the calmness of this serene time. Mornings are my favourite time of the day they make me realize that I have overcome the hurdles of the previous day and prepare me for the hurdles of the coming day. It's the time when the day starts and who knows what it has today for us maybe to uncover some hidden truths of the royal palace or as simple as learning something new about cooking or art. Whatever it is I hope it is better than yesterday.
After these thoughtful thoughts, I prepared myself for this amazing day. I dressed myself up, and then looked in the mirror it felt nice wearing my green checkered coat, white collar shirt and brown pant I looked like a detective. I flinched as my old self reflected in the mirror, taking me to the excruciating past. The most beautiful and precious thing was the black cat broch my mom gave me, it reminds me of her beautiful face and warm smile every time my eyes lay on it.
He went downstairs for breakfast, and the smell of roasted coffee beans freshens up my mind, it spread like magic in this lonely house turning it into a home. After fulfilling his hunger, Samuel went down Brandon street to fulfilling his dear fiance's heart now by posting this letter to my dear Rose.
Beautiful summer was giving way to the sunset Autumn. The street was quiet and calm and the weather was pleasant with dewdrops on the beautiful and vibrant plants placed outside each house, streets were empty but it was nice before the storm of people came into this well-known area. A carriage passed by and asked for a ride, although he did see a person who was covered head to toe like he was hiding from police like a criminal and wanted to keep themselves undercover. The carriage went past me, Samuel continued to walk hoping he would get another ride as he didn't know the way from here to the post office. As he was passing that carriage came again towards me and the rider asked that
"Do you need a ride somewhere kind sir?"
"I'm in need mate but I don't want to disturb a person who's already on his way," Samuel said politely.
Then a voice as sweet as honey came from the passenger
" I'm not in a hurry sir but seems you might need a ride because it's hard to find a ride this early and you look like a foreigner so I assume that you don't know the way here." The lady said.
He was flustered a bit while unexpectedly hearing a sweet lady's voice although it had a sort of royal-like attitude in her tone yet I was impressed by her kindness to offer a stranger a ride thinking that it would be hard to find a ride for him this early and also by her sharpness by assuming the right thing about me.
"I actually....hmm.....want to go to the post office but don't know the directions it would be enough if you could tell me those" I said in my deep husky voice.
"I can drop you there it's not that far from here and it is a part of my journey" The lady replied in a gentle voice.
"Thank you, kind lady" I said gratefully.
I sat in the carriage with my briefcase, I glanced at her once but there was a black cloak covering her completely I could only see her beautiful smile. Then I looked outside and thought, although it was quite hard to believe that there would be that kind of people who still exist in this world maybe they are the reason the world is still going otherwise these greedy, cruel and selfish people have already made this world a difficult place to live but people like her are a sigh of relief.
"There you go sir, Post office has arrived." The rider said in a loud and clear voice.
"Thank you very much a kind lady and thank you too, sir, for lending me here your fare sir" I slightly bowed my head.
"My pleasure" rider replied.
The lady was silent though I couldn't see her face. Still, she slightly bowed her head and smiled in a way that she accepted my gesture and see me off. The carriage passed by me although I was there standing idle till the passage completely disappeared from my eyes. I was lost in her sweet and mild scent and her mystic aura was still with me for some time. What a kind and the suspicious lady she was. I came back to my senses when I heard the bustling sounds of this market. It was quite strange that this early the market was so busy as it should be in the middle of the day. I was examining my surroundings carefully when a child around seven years old wearing old clothes covered with mud and also blood came rushing towards me. He held my coat with his tiny hands and looked at me with his eyes filled with innocence, hope and crying out for help. Tears constantly streamed down his face, and his voice was breaking while saying
"Sir. Sir, please come with me my father...they will....they will... they will kill him!!!"
