After the introductions, Grim and company met back with General Alex and asked him what his speech was about. "General, did you really mean what you said?" Grim asked him. "I meant everything that I said, Grim. I find lying to be an absolute waste of time. I would rather tell the truth now rather than to prolong it for some reason."
Rhys felt appalled by what the General just said. As there were also a couple of elven knights in the ranks of the Northern Barracks. "Did you have to say it like that?" He said in a pissed off tone. "Is what I said not true, though?" Alex still had the same polite expression he always had.
"You are asking them to act as meat shields for us. For three kids whom they do not even know." K added. "That might not be good for squad chemistry and synergy, you know?"
