Hiu and Trevo were now walking in a straight line following the line below their feet.
In the line there were dents spaced a few cebtimeters from each other. The dent was undetectable to normal humans but with the Insect's superior eyesight they could see the dents had the shape of a 3.
Following line number 3 they had walked away from the entrance wall. The two were surrounded by mist and their only guide was the black line that seemed to go on forever.
However they eventually found in the distance a spherical object with a oval form. In one of the oval object's sides was a glass window and a slightly outsile of a equally oval shape.
Approaching and pressing on a button inside the outline something seems to unlock with a click and Trevo pulled it beckwards.
It opened like a door and inside the oval shape there were two confy looking seats with a bucket of ice in a table between them.
Holding the door open Trevo pointem inside and called for Hiu.
"Ladies first." He had a smile behind his puffy green beard.
"Ha! Kiss a pig!" Hiu cursed but did enter first. After he was seated properly Trevo followed suit and sat opposite to Hiu.
From gis side he reached for a lever and pulled hard. The small shutter then started to move speeding up exponentially following line number 3.
After walking for a few kilometers Hiu was not tired at all instead he instantly jumped to questioning.
"So? Is it true?" He seemed to be hiding a childish elphoria.
"Oh? Are you doubting me? Hehe. Of couse it is! Every trait God told us to follow strictly is here!" Trevo seemed to be trying to convey he was the reason the Ape was done ignoring how hard everyone has worked, including Hiu himself.
"Is it true after all!" Unfortunately Hiu fell for him.
""Humanoid" figure, walking in two legs, hair all over the body, 9 months gestation period, enchanced inteligence but not self awareness." Trevo counted with his fingers.
"I guess we have a catch!" Trevo concluded.
Hiu was gripping tight and smiling with clenched teeth. He was wondering what reaction to have but nothing seemed enough util he finaly brought his hands together in pray. He was looked like a madman and sat quiet with his back curved forward.
Watching this even trevo felt emotional and followed. The two Homis prayed for a whole 40 minutes util their vehicle reached their destination.
Getting off at the other side Hiu found himself in the research center of this floor.
It was a large slate of stone and metal bars suspended by "Steel ropes" to the ceiling of the floor.
Walking further into the slate Hiu started to see other Homis, as he went further they became more numerous util he evetually found structures.
Ten clusters of cables and walls connected to one big slate of light blue crystal were scattered about with 1 to 10 Homis studying the "Screens" very carefully.
Walking more Hiu saw more clusters, more Homins and more screens util he eventually came to find what seemed to be the core region of the space. Hundreds of clustera formed even bigger cluaters and the light blue screens seemed to show extremely complicated information as they flashed with strange simbols and formed unconceivably long words.
In all direction Hiu could see many humanoid looking Homis either dfopped on the ground bawling and praying or looking ahead with a mad look on their faces.
All of this was usefull to confirm Hiu's hope that it was actually true.
Ahead of them was a giant glass case one kilometer in lenght.
Inside was thick greenery made from seeds that were brought from every corner of the world.
Though god had told them to call it Greenery all the plants inside were either purple, black or blue with life seeming to emanate from them. Even though only a little.
Even still this was one of the many prides the research staff had. In a sorld covered by toxicity, poison, cold and death they were here surrounded by the beauty of life. Much more life than even the five main capitals combined.
He looked ahead much like everyone around him looking to observe what the others were hoping to see again.
Hiu stared for a long time unblinking hoping to catch a glance at the so said "Ape" he worked so hard to finish, much like his Co-workers.
Util he finally did.
There, amidst the hundreds of plant species a thumb sized creature with a slightly humanoid shape and furred body crawled from the side of a small tree. The small thing was black and purple. It's body was contorted and the little skin that could be seen behind it's thick hair had curls and it's skin seemed to have knots around itself. The "Ape" was a absolutely chaotic thing that even though had evolved in a relatively natural way inside it's habitat seemed engineered This was given both that the Insects didn't know how a ape was meant to look like and because they themselves were unatural beings.
The ape stared out of the glass window when suddenly a creature equally small appeared out of nowhere grabbed it and flew away eating the small ape in the air.
Seeing this happen stunned Hiu for a minute when he suddenly teared up and threw himseft to the ground.
"It is here...! It is really here...!" He was bawling on the ground when suddenly Trevo walked up to him patting his back.
"I know.... I feelt the same." Trevo also seemed to be emotional.
Both of them felt blessed to be part of this great achievement for both the Facility's staff and their whole species.
