Chapter 1 - Prologue. The Great Escape.

On this cold evening. It was raining cats and dogs, lightening struck and everyone took shelter, people running about in umbrellas and raincoats.

Oh. What do we have here?

A man with a flashlight ran towards the gates, discarding his umbrella as he ran.

"Quick, shut the gates. The Unfinding has struck. Shut the gates, shut the gates." The guard in blue uniform cried as loud as he could as he blew a whistle while running to the gate in the heavy rain. The large gate were jammed as the guards separated themselves into groups, some patrolling the outside, some the inside and some within the building.

The big gallery of Galerie de France had just lost it's most valuable art piece that night, the security guards were at chaos as they were warned with extra caution to be on the lookout, which was why the Gallery was buzzing with security however their hopes were nothing but a fail as they had become vulnerable at the hands of a famous art napper.

"Secure the premises, make sure no body goes in or out?" The head of the security ordered. "I want everyone back inside, let the dogs led the chase. Notify the police at once." He ordered.

"But sir, it's raining, the rain must have washed away the scent." The man from earlier spoke with fear as he trembled for failing his task. His superior knew he was right, out of anger and fustration he squeezed his hands massaging his knuckles.

Red and Blue lights shone bright as numerous police vehicles drove in. The policeman rushed towards the building to be greeted by the head of security. "Mr Francisco, I presume. I'm Andre, the squad leader, here to assist you in the case before my superiors arrive. What seems to be the case?"

"Hey, Alonzo, lead us." Francisco said to Alonzo, the man who was almost at the brink of losing his job. The hesitant frightened man escorted them to the crime scene where they find an empty space where a picture was supposed to be hanging. it had a barricade around it. In fact they had to turn off the Lazer beams in the room and walk through specific routes to avoid setting off an alarm.

The squad leader took off his cap as he looked at the size of the space for the missing piece as well as the height from their head to wherever the starting point was. The man wondered, 'How could someone take something so big and flee this place so easily.'

"Has anyone gone out." He asked.

"Not at all, we've had everyone come inside." Francisco said.

"Well in that case, no one is going out, everyone will have to stay here until morning." Andre said.

As ordered no one left the building, rather more and more cars kept rushing in.

The sun rose up and it was 7:30am, they had already put a caution tape around the building with the warning, 'Crime scene ahead. Do Not Cross.' A numerous amount of reporters and surrounded the scene making it difficult for the cars to drive in and out. "Who informed the reporters?" Andre asked. But no one can answer that question.

The inspector had finally arrived, and the crowd were pushed behind for him to pass through. When he entered he went straight to the crime scene. "How did this happen?"

"The security guards on duty fell asleep sir." Andre said as he stood in attention.

"And how did you know the art was stolen?"

"One of the guards woke up and informed his colleagues." The inspector stopped and then turned around. His left eye twitched and his right eyebrow rose. He breathed heavily and then licked his lips as he warmed up to say something. "So you're telling me. That one man out of the several who were assigned duty, and who wasn't asleep suddenly discovered that the painting, was missing?" He asked in a low voice.

Andre shivered as he reduced because of the confrontation. "Yes sir."

"And where is this man now?"

"Well, he's been sent for questioning at the station. The vehicle he was in just left a few minutes before you arrived sir." The man burst into anger, holding Andre by the collar as he dragged him back and forth.

"You incompetent fools how could you be decieved so easily that man was no security guard..."

"Sir." A voice cried much louder as he ran up to them almost out of breath, "we just found a half nake..... pant... a half naked man lying unconscious... But the.... pant.... the thing is, It's Alonzo sir, and Alonzo just left the building." He said.

"No!!!!" The inspector cried with a loud voice. Their only hope to catch the most skillful and most notorious Art thief, in fact the most notorious Art thief had just slipped away from their fingers. it was a loss that they could not bear.

However, far from the gallery, a police vehicle pulled up in a street alley, a yellow sport car was parked right in front of them. Alonzo walked out of the car with a police officer and a man came down from the yellow car, walking up to them with a big bag. "The good's in the car." He said, removing something from inside his mouth. The man from the yellow car threw her the keys to the car and the police officer remained with the man as they were partners and the driver was merely an escort.

Alonzo got into the car and drove, removing the blue uniform and cleared his throat.

"Another victory for me it seems." A female voice said as Alonzo dragged his hair, allowing long curly black hair to fall. Now the face was slowly coming together, as fake skin began to peel off.

The most notorious Art thief was in fact a woman.
