At Hogwarts Amelia was always the best in class. So after graduating, people expected a lot from her.
She wanted to become an Auror for almost her whole life. Her parents, who both used to be Aurors, were always proud of her decision. Even though they both got injuries because of this, and her father even lost his hand.
This didn't stop them from encouraging her to become an Auror though.
When Amelia was in her last year of Hogwarts, Adelram started gaining more followers and after Amelia graduated he started attacking villages while killing the people living there, both Muggles, Witch, and Wizards.
Amelia had chosen as her life purpose to defeat Adelram. With this purpose in mind, she quickly climbed the ranks in de Auror Office by catching multiple of Alderam's followers.
Many Aurors in the Auror Department looked up to her. Because, even though she is still young, she is very capable of doing her job. She always knew how to inspire those around her.
Eventually, people got to know her as the best Witch of her time and they expected her to be the person to take Adelram down.
Well, this was until a new person came around that no one expected.

"Lyra Bree Emerson are you coming downstairs! We're waiting for you!" Her mother yelled upstairs.
"Mom for the last time, stop calling me " Lyra yelled back at her mom as she quickly got dressed.
Today they were going to London, which Lyra was very excited about. She always wanted to go there but never had the time or the money.
Lyra is going to graduate high school next year and is trying to figure out to which university she wants to go. She has been having a hard time figuring out what she wants to do in the future.
But because she's so busy trying to figure this out, her mother came up with the idea to go away for the weekend. Lyra thought it was a great idea because she was almost going mad.
Lyra has always been quite clever, even though she didn't think so herself. She passed every test with high marks and loved to learn new things. This is also the reason why it's been difficult for her to figure out what she wanted to do for a living after university.
She went to the bathroom to do her make-up, which is mostly natural but she liked to put on eyeliner and mascara so that her blue eyes would stand out more. Then she started to brush her very long, slightly wavy hair. Which does not resemble her parents' hair at all. While her parents' hair is both blond, she has very dark, almost black hair. She loved her hair a lot, even though it could be a bit tedious, having to take care of her waist-length hair.
Before leaving the room, she quickly grabbed her fingerless gloves. When Lyra was little she got into an accident. Her parents told her that both her hands got stuck between a car door. She doesn't remember anything about it herself, but she is left with scarred hands. Which is why she prefers to wear gloves.
When Lyra finished packing her bag, she quickly ran out of her room downstairs.
Her house wasn't very large, but Lyra loved the cozy feeling it gave her. It's an older house that used to be her grandmother's. But she sadly enough passed away at a young age from a disease they couldn't decipher.
Her family was waiting for her in the living room.
"Finally, can you be any slower?" Her mother signed at her making Jessie roll her eyes.
"Yeah, yeah." She mumbled to her mom, having heard this comment more often. "Hey, Mark!" Jessie said, ignoring her mom, as she walked over to her big brother Mark, who was sitting on the big lazy chair, to give him a hug.
"Hey, little Bree" Mark said as he hugged her back while messing up her hair.
He pulled away. "And are you happy that we're finally going to London?" He asked Lyra as he looked at her with a big smile while she quickly moved away from him so that she could tidy her hair.
She and Mark have always been very close. They did everything together since Lyra was born.
Sadly he moved out of the house, but they try to see each other at least once a week. Which often is him coming over to our place to watch a football game with my father.
"Well, I'm ready to go." Lyra said as she turned toward her parents. Her parents looked quite the opposite of her. Her mom, Loretta, had dark blond hair, which almost looks brunette, and green eyes. While her father, Henry, has grey eyes and grey hair, which used to be blond. Apparently, Mark is a copy of how their father used to look.
"Have you eaten yet?" Asked her mom as she crossed her arms and looked at her sternly.
Lyra signed again and mumbled. "No."
"Okay, then you have to at least eat before we leave." Her mom said as she walked towards the kitchen. Lyra followed after her. "Do I have to? I'm not even hungry." They got into the kitchen and her mom immediately went to the fridge and started taking out ingredients for, what Lyra guesses, is a sandwich. Their kitchen is bigger than their dining room, this is because her parents have a love for cooking. This is also why some appliances are quite new, compared to other things in the house, such as the furniture.
"Lyra listen to your mother, you know it's important to eat breakfast." Her father said, his voice coming from the living room. While you could hear the television softly playing, what she assumes is football.
Her mother quickly made her a sandwich, which Lyra ate with dislike.
She really wasn't hungry, but she finished it quickly caus she knew her mom would keep nagging at her if she didn't. She just never was hungry when she just got out of bed.
"Okay now I'm really ready." Lyra said when she finished eating. She stood up and put her plate in the dishwasher. On her way back to the living room she quickly glanced in the mirror to check if she got any crumbs on her face. Wouldn't have been the first time.
When Lyra and her mother got to the living room, both her father and Mark stood up.
"All right then, let's go." Her father said as they all left the house and got into the car. The car ride will take a few hours caus they live all the way in Wetherby, near Leeds.
During the ride, Lyra and Mark caught up with each other. Because they don't always have the chance to talk like this. Apparently, Mark has gone on a date with a girl he got introduced to by one of his friends. They had a lot of fun together, so they were planning to go on a second date next weekend. "Oehh, my big brother is finally growing up." Lyra gave a stupid grin, and Mark gave her a soft push. "Says the one that actually has to grow up." Lyra faked gasped. "How dare you say that to me, now I'm sad and this whole trip is ruined." After a few seconds of looking at each other, they both started laughing. When they were done talking Lyra grabbed her phone and earplugs to listen to some music.
While she listened to the music she drowsed off.
