Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

"Sir we are almost ready to begin." A man with scars adorning his face said. The older man he was talking to was dressed in silky red robes covered with gold lace. A face covered with a grey beard, well taken care of, and eyes that almost seemed to speak his wisdom. He was looking up at the blue cloudless sky. "Beautiful weather don't you think?" He asked the scar-faced man, not responding to what he has just been told. "Uh yes sir? I believe so." He looked confused towards his Lord. Trying to figure out what he was trying to tell him. "But sir it's almost ready. Shouldn't we get ready to leave?" The robed man nodded, turned towards his subordinate, and smiled. "Yes let's go, shall we?"

---

Multiple people wearing similar clothing, only less extravagant, were busy running around trying to finish the preparations when the two men arrived. The people they walked past gave the older man a short bow, while he gave a small smile back. "Morgan, how long will it take until we're ready?" The scar-faced man asked the man that was giving out orders.

The man called Morgan then saw the older man and quickly knelt down, just like some of his subordinates had done. "My Lord, there are only a few minutes left until we are ready to begin." The older man walked toward Morgan and put a hand on his shoulder. "Rise my friend and as I told you before, you don't have to call me Lord." He winked at Morgan and gave him a warm smile. "Yes My Lo - sir, thank you." Morgan said quickly correcting himself and he rose to his feet.

After some time had passed, a young woman came running to them. Bowing to the older man when she saw him. "My Lord, everyone is ready and waiting for your command." She bowed again and then left the way she came from. The older man clasped his hands together and on his face came a beaming smile. "Let us follow her then, shall we?" He said to no one in particular and continued after the woman. Morgan and the scar-faced man followed closely behind him.

The next area they arrived at was packed with robed people, who were all standing in a line. They walked towards a ledge, that stood higher, looking over the robed people. On the ledge, the young woman was waiting for them. When the young woman noticed that the older man had arrived, she quickly bowed again and moved to the side. He took the spot the woman was standing at and turned himself towards the crowd. His hands moved towards one of his red-robed pockets and out he pulled a thing wooden carved stick, which he then pointed towards his throat as he mumbled. "Soronus."

The older man looked over the crowd and a small smile grazed his lips. "Welcome, my dear brothers and sisters. Today we will accomplish what we have waiting decades to achieve, this is the day that muggles will finally find out about the existence of Wizard kind." His voice booming, sounding increasingly louder and clearer than before. The crowd quickly responded with a round of cheers, which caused the older man to smile brighter. "I won't stall any longer. Let's begin, shall we?" With that being said a wicked smile was now adorning his face.

-------

A few minutes before the wave:

"How are we going to get all these Muggles out of here? They just won't listen." A woman said to her partner, while she let out a sigh. They both had a slightly panicked look on their faces. "Remember what Emory told us, if the Muggles don't want to co-operate, we can use Disapparation by force if the situation is dire." The man told, trying to reassure his partner. The woman sighed again and nodded. "Well, let's hope that the situation won't come to that."

The woman walked towards a small restaurant, the man following quickly after her. "People you have to leave. There is going to be an attack on London. You're all in grave danger!" She said urgently, but still, the Muggles didn't believe her. The Muggles were enjoying the lovely weather on the terrace and most of them looked at her as if she had two heads, others just ignored her. Why are these Muggles so damn stubborn, the woman thought to herself. However, there were a few that were questioning if she was indeed speaking the truth. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a young woman with dark hair speaking to, which she assumed were her parents, with a worried look on her face.

Suddenly a scream came from behind them and the woman quickly turned around. People started running everywhere and they knew that the situation was dire. She knew that something would be coming their way. She immediately turned toward her partner. "We have to get them out of here right now! Let everyone know they're allowed to Disapparate the Muggles away from here." The man nodded and started running toward other people dressed in robes.

She started helping the Muggles hear and urging them to run away, this time they did listen. "C'mon this way!" She pointed them to the opposite side of the magic that she felt was getting closer to them. She wasn't sure if the Muggles would be able to see it or not, but she was very sure that it would kill them, whatever it was coming their way. Most of the Muggles started frantically screaming and running in every direction, while most robed people started pointing them in the right direction. Some of the robed people started disappearing into thin air, together with some people near them.

The square they were standing on was steadily becoming empty as the magic thing she felt was coming closer. However, she wasn't sure if the Muggles had gotten far away enough for them to die. Suddenly she saw the thing that was coming their way. It was a huge black wave, created by using some type of dark magic, that she knew for sure. "What can I do to save them!?" The woman thought to herself, as she started frantically looking around. All of a sudden, she saw the young dark-haired woman from the restaurant slowly walking towards the black wave coming their way.

"Merlin's beard, what is she doing!?" The woman yelled to herself and started running towards the girl. Not knowing if she would be there in time to save her. While the wave could hit them any second.
