[Stat Increase Pill]
[The Stat Increase Pill can double a chosen stat or level up a bronze level skill. After ten are taken for each stat, it becomes useless.]
[Grade: Bronze VII]
[Ding! The system has detected that the host doesn't know grades. The system will now explain what they are.]
[Iron is the lowest grade of item. Next is bronze, then Silver, then Gold, then Platinum, and finally Diamond. Each grade is separated into ten levels.]
"Oh… well, right now, maybe I should increase my intelligence. It might help me in the long run. System, is there any other use for this pill?".
[Yes, if coupled with a golden lily root, the stat bonus will increase to 5x. You must put them in a furnace, scorch them, then quickly decrease the temperature to refine them into one pill.]
"Well, I don't exactly have a golden lily root or a way to instantly make the heat of an oven 0. Well, I still have the novice gift pack.".
James decides to use analysis on the novice gift pack, and sees that there are three random high grade items. He opens the pack and sees some roots that emit a golden shimmer, another metal card, and a dagger with a crystal in the middle that emits a red glow. After using analysis, he finds some interesting things…
[Crimson Striker]
[The Crimson Striker is able to grow with its user, consuming the life force of creatures it kills.]
[Type: Growing Weapon]
[Grade: Bronze I | Potential: Bronze I - Diamond X]
[Skills: Crimson Slash, Blood Siphon [Not Unlocked], Bursting Spirit [Not Unlocked], Scarlet Soldier [Not Unlocked], Dark Night - Ultimate [Not Unlocked]
[Evolution Stage: 0]
[Evolution Points - 0/1]
"System, what are evolution points?".
[Evolution points are obtained through killing enemies.]
"What enemies? Wait, do you mean I have to murder people to evolve my weapons?".
[That is one way, but it is more morally sound to kill monsters.]
"Wait, wait wait wait wait wait WAIT WAIT! MONSTERS?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN MONSTERS?".
[Monsters aren't here yet. Initiate monsters?]
[Yes] [No]
"What? Uh… I guess? Well, what's the harm of a few monsters? I mean, there are some strong people on this planet anyways. But.. nah, it'll be fine!". He clicks yes, and a massive earthquake erupts across the entire planet. Only the strongest can stand this earthquake, and the rest fall, and some of the weaker ones black out.
About 20 minutes later, the shaking ceased. A horrifying roar came from all mountains, forests, and plains. James had accidentally awoken the monsters. Now this… yeah, this isn't good. For more than the obvious reasons. In this world, all nations were about to reach peace, meaning that war would be a thing of the past. Well, James seems to have f*cked everything up by misunderstanding the system.
As he heard something approaching his apartment, he burst out the door with the Crimson Striker, to discover that instead of an apartment he lived in a cabin in a quant area. So that's why he hasn't heard any people or cars. Either way, the thing that surprised him more was the skeletal thing that could only be described as s hellhound. Scarlet flames in the eyes, paws with fingers as sharp as knives, literally no skin, muscles, blood, organs, or any genetic matter other then the bones, this looked a lot like a hellhound.
Right as the hellhound was about to bite him, he shouted "CRIMSON SLASH!" and felt that he had lost control of his body, and moved at speeds he hadn't imagined he could. His dagger smashed against the skull of the skelly dog and cut it cleanly in half, after which the rest of the dog stopped moving and fell apart, because come on, it's only bones. Nothing keeping that together.
James used analysis and found some cool things.
[Skeleton Hound]
[Strength Level: 150]
[Spirit Level: 50]
[Intelligence: 70]
[If scared enough by someone, a skeleton hound will hail to that person as their new master.]
[Ding! You have slain a monster! Acquired one evolution point for [Crimson Striker] and the system.]
[Ding! Lucky drop, [Hell Body Tempering Technique]! Claim lucky drop?]
[Yes] [No]
James had been screwed by the system half an hour ago, but he decided to let bygones be bygones and pressed [Yes].
