Chapter 4 - Albert's Cruel Side

"At least you told me from the beginning that the girl was blind! You're just saying there's a girl to sell. Are you crazy to give me a blind girl like her? What do you think I am, Josh? It's like you have only known me for a year or two." All of them heard the disappointment in Harry Young's voice. It wasn't until five minutes later that the man went straight out of Anas's room and was grumpy at Josh.

"I don't think you want to make that girl a mistress. I know you, Harry. Don't make a girl like her a wife, but I'm sure she's fun enough to play around with," Josh said, trying to reassure Harry. One house in Las Vegas was waiting for a man of Hong Kong descent to approve their transactions.

George who had just arrived at the headquarters only glanced at Albert full of questions. The noise sounded so fierce that George abandoned the intention to go to the second floor.

"Harry Young came?" asked George, half-whispering.

Albert nodded. "He wants to make Anastasia a mistress."

"It's crazy!"

The sight of the two compactly turned towards the second floor as Harry's voice returned to the sound. There was a rough breath and a rough breath. Albert and George slipped into the corner of the room as soon as they saw the two men vying ahead with their mouths.

"No, no! You're too late, Josh. What can I enjoy from a blind girl like her? It's not worth the fee I offered you. You let me down, Josh."

"If you can have Anastasia, then you're free to do anything to her including reselling her. It's business, Harry. You must be more proficient than me," Josh replied, still trying to convince Harry. He needs a house as quickly as possible to move ladybug's increasingly insecure headquarters. He also does it for business, for money.

"So, he wants to pay cheap to get expensive stuff? Harry Young is stingy. Unfortunately, he never wants to admit it even though it has been satirized by many entrepreneurs. His face was as thick as a gold necklace around his neck," George whispered to Albert, complete with subtle innuendo and did liking.

"I don't know what Josh wants from him, but for sure if Josh wants to kill the guy, I'll do it with pleasure," Albert said, flatly looking at Josh and Harry. It seemed like this time the master had to swallow defeat.

"What about that girl?" asked George, taking over the coffee cup from Albert's hand and sipping it sinlessly.

"Still looking for Peter," Albert said.

"Maybe you should tell her if your brother is ashes," George said.

"If she knew that, maybe she would have asked to be made ashes as well."

The two's gaze was glued to Josh's disappointed face after Harry just left. Albert knows what Josh wants and he doesn't know what it is yet. Otherwise, it's impossible to see Josh almost begging Harry Young when he could attract the attention of another much more profitable businessman.

"Are you thinking about what you are?" George returned the coffee cup to Albert.

"I'm just wondering who Josh wants to lose today. Harry Young or that girl? I don't know why Josh seems to want to rush to sell Anastasia. There must be a point behind his act," Albert said.

As expected, Josh returned to headquarters with an upset face when he only released businessman Harry Young. Josh's eyes catch Albert and George in turn. Josh stepped towards Albert, only that man he could rely on in the situation he was in now.

"Come with me, Al. I have something to talk about," Josh commanded, without glancing at George and continuing his steps towards Ladybug's team room on the first floor.

Albert obeyed and followed. The man closed the door, it seemed like Josh only wanted to talk one-on-one without involving anyone even George. Josh pumps his buttocks in a super messy bed while Albert leans just against the wall.

"What disturbs your mind, Sir?" Albert asked first.

"Someone is spying on our headquarters. I can confirm it and obviously, it's very dangerous. According to reports from Ethan, your identity has been leaked and is being suspected by the police, but because they do not have strong evidence they do not come directly to you. A few days ago, a stranger came to the house of the occupant of number 90 at the end of the street and he asked about you. Now you understand the situation, don't you?" Josh said without being able to cover the worry from his face. The man is good at 'embracing' crime, but dealing with the police is not an easy thing let alone fun.

Albert was shocked to hear the fact josh had just revealed. One thing that bothered the 29-year-old was the leak of his identity. That's a dangerous thing. Therefore, half of those listed are falsehoods.

"Then what should I do?" Knowing that this wasn't a trivial matter, Albert let Josh make the decision.

"You have to stay away from here. Not just you, but others too. You're scattering so that their investigation is difficult. Let Henry and Thomas take turns staying here so it's not too obvious that you, George, and Louis leave."

Albert kept both hands in his pants pocket. This bad news came so quickly.

"What about our mission, Sir? They don't want to wait," Albert said. Just last night he and George discussed the steps they would take for tonight's mission.

"For that, we finish as soon as the next two days. You have to be more careful, Al. I heard there were witnesses to the murder of Peter William?" asked Josh, full of questioning.

Albert nodded slowly. "George caught it yesterday and I've gone."

"Good. Let there be no trace."

"Then what about that girl if we split up? I... Honestly, I can't trust Henry and Thomas," Albert admits.

Josh can understand that. That's why Henry and Thomas never gave him a heavy mission.

"Let the girl come with you until I find a buyer for her," Josh said.

Albert's back vertically then pointed at himself. "Sir, you mean, you want that girl to stay with me?"

"Yes. You always get it fast, Al." Josh nodded steadily.

Plagues. Josh's idea would trouble Albert who had been living alone for years. Not to mention that if Anas is in obnoxious mode, he could lose control and eliminate the girl unknowingly.

"You don't intend to refuse my instructions, do you?" Josh looked at Albert fixedly.

"There's no way I'm going to refuse, Sir. I'll try to take care of the girl," Albert said, half had to.

Josh thought their conversation was enough. The man left and was about to leave the headquarters to take care of some things. Before leaving the room, Josh approached Albert who was still in the room.

"I'll find you a house away from the city. As long as I can't ensure your safety, you don't have to work in the field. Your job is to take care of the girl, make her forget Peter while I'm looking for a buyer. Next month there is a meeting in Italy, I'm expected to come with good news for you," Josh said, patting Albert's right shoulder and leaving Ladybug headquarters.

Although Josh is very trustworthy, Albert said this is the beginning of the next bad news. Shortly thereafter, the man came out of the room. He was encouraged to enter and see Anas who was sitting while looking at the window. The sunlight bounced on the girl's face and Anas still didn't feel the glare.

"Who is that?" Anas turned his head following the sound of the creak of the open door.

"Albert."

"Oh. Hi, Al."

"Have you eaten?" Albert asked.

"I'm not hungry. By the way, I heard a commotion outside. Has Peter come?" Anas changed her sitting position to face the source of the sound even though her eyeballs were staring the other way.

"No, Peter is not here," Albert said, briefly. He was about to leave the room, but Anas's voice was heard again.

"When will Peter pick me up?"

"Maybe until the work is done," Albert replied, his hands clasping the doorknob.

"Can you connect the phone to Peter? I want to make sure for myself," Anas said, now that her face has returned like a kitten that lost its mother. It seemed like the girl was starting to fret and be afraid when they remembered what Albert did yesterday.

"He's busy, Anas. Please understand and be a good girl who doesn't make much noise," Albert said.

"But, I want to know! I'm afraid to be here. I want to meet my family. If you mind taking care of me, you better get me home!" Anas replied, in a trembling voice. The tears began to clot and were ready to fall onto the cheeks. However, Albert remained untouchable even though the weak girl had sobbed.

The look on Albert's face was still flat while looking at Anas who had been crying. Imagining every day he had to face similar questions from the girl left him gasping. Maybe it was better if that night he just plugged a bullet into Anas's forehead.

"Please, Al. Take me home. I don't like being here!" Anas continued to roar and create noise that Albert never liked.

The man slammed the door and stepped quickly towards Anas. He sat down on the bed and held both of Anas' shoulders firmly. This girl was truly a catastrophe for him.

"Listen, Peter left you to me because he thought you wouldn't bother me. Do you want to ruin Peter's good name in front of me with this childish you? " Albert snapped, making Anas cry stop instantly.

"I just miss Peter," Anas great-grandson, along with a tearful plume that fell down her cheeks without sobs.

Albert smoothed Anas's messy hair and slipped it behind her ears. The man brought his face closer and cupped both of Anas's cold cheeks.

"Just think of Peter in your head and let him come in your dreams. If you miss him, he'll know that."

Anas didn't answer anything and all he heard next was the sound of the door being closed roughly. While Albert continued his steps into the kitchen in a chaotic mood. He hopes Peter meets Anas through a dream so that the girl no longer asks the same thing.

Albert took a can of soda from the fridge. Not having time to open it, the vibrations from the phone managed to distract the man. He grabbed the tiny thing from his pants pocket and there was Josh's name there.

[Mr. Josh: Eliminate Harry Young without a trace.]

It was short and dense, but the instructions managed to make Albert feel better. At least, he had an object to attach his annoyance towards Anas to Harry Young. Albert left the kitchen and went to the execution chamber to pick up the same rifle at the time he killed the eyewitness yesterday.

"You should have brought this girl, Harry Young."
