It's been how long? 1 month since their first mission to the relaxing island, burning fire tauntrum, and that beginning of the morning motion sickness…
Natsu cried when he slept peacefully this morning with a slightly bigger Nashi and Lucy in their big bed. They loved to sleep in the same bed and now natsu didn't have to worry about smashing Nashi since she was the one doing all the smashing on him. He grew to cancel out the sudden kicks to the face he would get but… today as he yawned and woke up first he smelled it… that mint plant scent that was relaxing enough to sleep too take over lucys original scent as it vanished instantly. Natsu finally saw what was happening before his very eyes without him being clueless about it. He smiled a bit as he ran his fingers over Lucy's belly button and still flat stomach, he couldn't wait till she blew up again for him to comfort her and talk to her belly again…
Suddenly he felt the room began spinning…
'Ohhhh nooo…. Not this again….'
Natsu jumped out of bed as he made the bed shake startling Nashi awake as she blinked awake now with her untame hair. She turned her butt to the edge of the bed as her little legs dangled off the bed to jump off safely. She landed safely as she waddled to the bathroom where she thought her 'mama' was throwing up but was surprised to see it was 'daddy'.
"Daddy?… *yawn* are you sick??"
*nashi asked while still being half asleep. Natsu couldn't answer her since he was busy spilling his guts into the toilet but gave her a thumbs up that trembled a bit. Nashi saw that he was throwing up a lot so she went back to the room to go get her blanket we're she came back to the bathroom to cover her daddy's back with the pink blanket.*
"Here daddy, blanky will make you feel better…"
*she hugged natsu's big back with her little arms as he finally came to a stop at vomiting. Natsu panted to catch his breath but felt a weight on his back as he turned to see his Nashi had fallen back asleep on his back. Natsu reached behind him to stabilize Nashi from falling off as he carried her back to the bed. He layed her down first as he rested his body next to hers. He still felt queazy but somehow having Nashi with him had neutralized the morning motion sickness. He sighed as now there was no excuse to confront lucy about this. He had to tell her what he knew.*
Lucy woke up finally having the best rest in months. She saw natsu and Nashi sleeping as natsu had Nashi's foot up on his face again… she got off the bed deciding it was time to get up. But before she got up she felt the world around her spin for a moment before someone caught her. She looked back to see natsu fully awake now with a serious look.
"Lucy, we need to talk…"
*lucy was startled and let a 'huh?' Roll out of her tongue earning a sigh from natsu.*
"Lucy… just follow me.."
*he got off the bed, while till holding Nashi's hand. He didn't dare let go until he planned out a path for himself to the bathroom. Lucy was confused since natsu told her to follow her but still seemed sitting on the bed till she noticed natsu let go of Nashi's little hand.*
As soon as he let go he regretted it as he felt his world began to swirl and churn his innards in ways that he never felt before. He made a rush to the bathroom again as Lucy followed this time. She patted natsu's back not knowing why he was so suddenly sick. Lucy thought back on what could have made natsu so sick, did he eat something bad that could have upset his stomach?
Lucy kept thinking till she noticed her little nashi standing at the door frame of the bathroom wiping her eyes. She only looked at her with a sorry look in her eyes and talked to her finally.
"I'm sorry baby, did daddy wake you up?"
*lucy replied with a soft comforting voice.*
"…. Is daddy going to have a baby?.."
Natsu lost his grip on the toilet seat as he slipped on the words coming out of his 1 year old. At the same time, Lucy fell on his back dunking his head into the toilet bowl as he struggled to get back up in a attempt to not fall in the murky water with his vomit. Lucy finally snapped out of the shock as she quickly help natsu out of the toilet while blushing at Nashi now looking at her with embarrassment.
"Nashi! Where in the world did you hear that!! How do you know about that!!"
*lucy stumbled over her words as she waited for Nashi to reply.*
"? Laurie and letisha said that there mommy started throwing up which meant she was going to have a baby…. Their papa had told them that's how you know someone is going to have a baby..?"
*Nashi blinked with confusion as how natsu stared at her with a red face from the hurling effort and the embarrassment of how much his daughter knew. He only had a moment of composure before flushing the toilet and going back to throwing up again.*
"Well… Nashi, daddy isn't having a baby… I think daddy just ate something that didn't make his tummy happy… so don't worry.."
*lucy went back to rubbing his back now but Nashi charged into the bathroom with aggression now?*
"No mommy! That's not how you make daddy's tummy feel better!"
*nashi proceeded to push lucy away as she placed a corner of her blanky on natsu's back and rubbed his back with a fist full of fire now?! Natsu knew she had put her blanket on him before, but he never realized she had burned part of the blanket to make him feel better.*
Lucy gasped as she told Nashi to don't do that. But she was too late for the pink blanket had a burn color of pink on it now. Surprisingly, natsu felt better after this and sat on his butt now with a sigh of relief. The room finally stopped turning, but now he saw a enraged Lucy who assumed he made Nashi burn the blanket she worked so hard on.
"What's … wrong luce?"
*natsu said with a half exhausted tone in his voice.*
"What's wrong? What's wrong with you! Why would you let Nashi go around burning things! Now she burned the blanket I made for her!"
*lucy exclaimed feeling a sudden rage of annoyance twords natsu.*
"What? I never taught Nashi how to make fire.. I haven't even shown her what magic is yet!"
*natsu began getting upset too since he never got accused by Lucy before, especially infront of Nashi who was watching them fight seriously now.*
"Ohh hooo~~ sure~ natsu~ your always the one doing things your way never asking me what I think about things, you know what I'm tired of how you do things, I don't want you teaching Nashi anything anymore!"
*lucy finished off with a scream yell as she shoved natsu to fall back on his butt again as he was trying to stand up to follow her out the restroom. Lucy grabbed Nashi's hand as she pulled her out the bathroom and slammed the bathroom door closed*
"*sigh* Nashi you can't be burning things okay? Mama made this for you, when you destroy things like this. Mama feels hurt…"
*lucy finally began to lecture Nashi politely showing her what's right from wrong but before Nashi could ask why? Natsu slammed the door open with a bit of rage in him now.*
'What the hell!? What's Lucy's deal now???! Why is she blaming me for something Nashi has always done since she was born!? Is she tired of my magic is that it?!'
*natsu thought to himself as he began packing some of his clothes in a duffel bag and was about to leave the house before it got any worse, but was not quick or lost his temper as Lucy landed the last critical blow of words twords him.*
"Oh! And now your leaving?! Fine! Go! Leave the house but don't you dare come back here again NATSU DRAGNEEL!!! UGHHH this is why I hate you!!"
*this broke something in natsu as he clenched the duffel bag and slammed it on the floor now… he looked at lucy and tackled her on the bed roughly as he pinned her down under him as he restrained her from her wrist and legs as he bore holes with his glowing yellow eyes with her deer doe brown eyes..*
"Heh… look at you… we made a promise to tell each other everything from now on since we found out about Nashi… but you still broke that promise and didn't even care how I felt in the end… tell me why lucy, WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME YOU WERE PREGNANT AGAIN!!!"
Natsu huffed as he had yelled with a growl at lucy under him, deep inside he was asking for lucy to flinch and not know what natsu was talking about.
'Please, tell me I'm crazy or that you didn't know. Tell me a lie, deny it, or make a fool out of me but don't say you knew PLEASE!!'
But Lucy's wide eyes then shameful look as she avoided his gaze told him what he feared…. He was right… she broke her promise again and kept things away from him. He let her go now and bounced off the bed as he went to little Nashi who was a bit frightened but also clueless of what was happening.
"I'm sorry baby, daddy is taking you out for some ice cream… let's go I think mama needs to be alone for a while.."
Natsu took Nashi's hand to begin walking away with her but she stopped natsu to let go. He let go since he didn't want to force Nashi to do anything she didn't want to do as he waited what she wanted to do. She looked up at natsu as she began to speak..
"Daddy, that's not very nice of you to yell at mommy…. If mommy did something bad, you can't yell at my mommy like that… go say sorry before we go daddy.."
*Nashi pointed with her finger twords lucy as she looked a bit furious at natsu, natsu felt a bit ashamed for letting his temper get the best of him and let Nashi see all that… but he smiled warmly at Nashi as he rustled her hair and sighed. He was glad Nashi told him this because at the end of the day, he still loved lucy very much.*
Natsu walked back to the sitting lucy who was looking at him as he kneeled down infront of her and sighed…
"Look…. I'm sorry for yelling at you lucy… I know I lost my temper and I have no right to be angry at you, since I know you probably didn't mean to keep your pregnancy a secret from me… I.-"
Natsu was cut off as lucy kneeled down with him and hugged him by the neck as she cried into him now. She felt so guilty, and ashamed of what she had told natsu earlier but felt worse when she heard her little Nashi still defend her even though she was in the wrong. She sobbed into natsu as he hugged her tightly now and the room was filled with crying now.
"I'm… sorry natsu- *hiccup* i didn't- I didn't mean too- *hiccup* I-I don't know what's wrong with me! *sob/hicvup* I'm also sorry about saying all those mean things! *sob*"
"Shhh…. It's okay luce…. I'm a stubborn idiot that wouldnt leave you even if you stab me in the back one day… I forgive you lucy and please… don't kee things from me luce.. just grab my hair and tell me even if I'm busy fighting or taking a shit at the moment… don't hesitate anymore…"
The crying coming from luce calmed down as only a few whimpers were heard in the room. Natsu still hugged her close to his chest till he felt someone tug at his shirt… he looked behind him as he saw Nashi waiting on him now..
"Daddy? Are we still going to go get ice-cream?"
