The two skeletons just continued to stand in front of their graves.
The pure white skeleton just continued to stand there staring into space. The pure black skeleton also continued to stand there as its focus was on me.
Studying me, looking at me, and watching my movements.
"Well, at least I know that my idea worked. The only downside is that I'm going to have to put in some effort. Not much of a downside in my opin-..."
I stopped as I was interrupted by the sound of the system as it looked like it still wasn't done with its explanation.
I kissed my teeth as I was interrupted by the system as I started to read what the system deemed so important. But the more I read, the more I started to frown.

I could only shake my head afterwards as Khedes now had his attention on the Undead Skeleton who continued to stare off into space as he slowly started to walk towards it.
But just as Khedes got halfway towards the Undead Skeleton he stopped as the Undead Skeleton stopped staring into space as its head snapped right to Khedes.
Khedes tilted his head as the soul fire in his eyes pulsed continuously. Almost like he was laughing at it. He slowly raised his right arm which got an immediate reaction from the Undead Skeleton as it charged at Khedes letting out a roar.
The pulsing in Khedes eyes stopped as he straightened his head as his palm faced forward as a pulsating darkness continued to pulse in his palm.
The Undead Skeleton didn't seem to notice as it continued to barrel towards Khedes with its arms stretched wide as it continued to let out its roar.
Both of them continued to focus on each other as they seemed to have forgotten about the other body on the field. Me.
I wasn't idle the entire time Khedes and the Undead Skeleton started their fight. I was doing my best to stay hidden as I snuck up behind Khedes. Waiting for the best opportunity to try and attack.
That or possibly die due to the fact that I am way over my head as I am way weaker than Khedes.
'Sivath, we need to do our best to defeat Khedes as quickly as possible.' I spoke mentally to Sivath as she responded by adjusting her body to deliver the best attack. 'Hopefully some of my luck is still available. If not then I should prepare for the worst.'
I took a deep and silent breath as I adjusted my shovel to deliver the best strike I was capable of.
But just as I was nearing what I thought the blindside of Khedes was, the Undead Skeleton lunged towards as it started slashing both of its arms at Khedes neck as he didn't move to dodge.
Just as the Undead Skeleton's claws were about to reach Khedes neck a powerful dark pulse shot out of his palm hitting the Undead Skeleton in the chest shattering it's ribcage!
Yet the only thing it did was weaken the already weak soul fire in the Undead Skeletons eyes as its claws slashed across Khedes neck unimpeded, sending out sparks. The Undead Skeleton still wasn't fazed as it continued its attack all the while Khedes seemed to be studying his hand.
The Undead Skeleton continued its assault as the soul fire in its eyes continued to weaken all the while Khedes looked at his hand until he grasped the jaw of the Undead Skeleton and raised it off its feet. Like he was studying it. The Undead Skeleton still continued its assault as it changed its target to Khedes hand.
I did my best to maintain my focus as the so called fight between Khedes and the Undead Skeleton continued as Khedes continued to hold it by its jaw. As I started to figure out Khedes.
'He seems even more curious than I thought. He's allowed the Undead Skeleton to continuously attack him, studied his own hand after he used Dark Pulse, and now it looks like he is still testing his own strength? Why? He has already shown that he is stronger just what is he… oh! That's what he is doing.'
I internalized while Khedes finished off the Undead Skeleton by cruising its jaw as the soul fire in its eyes disappeared. Khedes still continued to focus on the dead Undead Skeleton as it kneeled down and grabbed the Undead Skeletons spine.
I still didn't strike as I felt that even though Khedes seemed to be focused on the Undead Skeleton. My instincts were telling me another story as the more I told myself to strike, the more my instincts screamed.
Khedes continued to kneel next to the Undead Skeleton for a couple of seconds before an odd laughter seemed to somehow escape its throat as the spine of the Undead Skeleton started to slowly morph as did Khedes focus.
'Oh, and they called you a soldier. Yet it seems the lifestyle of being a bandit still leaked in as you did the one thing you should have never done.' I internalized as I prepared to swing the blade of my shovel at Khedes head while Sivath was preparing to strike with everything she had.
'You lost focus on the battlefield.'
In order to make sure I properly defeat Khedes I used both my skills Demonic Rage and Demonic Roar as swung my shovel just as my vision started to turn red as it felt as if molten lava flowed through my veins as I released a loud and demonic roar.
Sivath seemed to agree with me as she also let out a demonic sounding hiss as she attacked Khedes in full force as well.
Again Khedes still didn't seem to respond until he heard the combined roar of both Sivath and I as he tried to attack with the hand that held the Undead Skeletons spine.
But just when he tried to lift his hand he noticed that he wasn't able to as Sivath had pinned his hand to the ground just as my shovel blade was about to strike his head.
The loud sound of metal against metal sounded out as the ground underneath Khedes started to crack as the soul fire in his eyes dimmed as he tried to free his hand from Sivath trying to toss her away.
My focus seemed to flicker as my vision turned red as the only thing that I could hear or remember was the continuous sound of banging metal against metal that echoed out in the night.
