Chapter 6 - Fiona's Interogation

The school bell has been ringing since 10 minutes ago. Fiona roamed the sidewalk toward the house.

The distance to the house is only about 20 minutes until Fiona feels sorry to pay for an angkot to go home.

As Fiona was walking, suddenly a black car stopped nearby.

From there came a woman gracefully. Fiona felt familiar with the woman.

"Hi!" who is that woman?

"Sorry about-"

before Fiona finished speaking the woman immediately slashed.

"I'm the woman who screamed for help in the middle of the night last night. Do you remember?"

Fiona was-oh,

"Beautiful sister who was stolen at that time, right? It's no wonder I've seen it but don't know where. He he."

The woman looked around.

"Do you like ice cream?" he asked again. Fiona nodded.

"Yes, come up here. Let's talk to my sister while eating ice cream! I'll treat you," she asked.

Fiona enthusiastically nodded as she walked quickly towards the luxury car.

The woman took Fiona to a nearby cafe. They occupied the cafe. Looks minimalist but quite luxurious.

"What do you want?"

"Strawberries sis."

"Ma'am, two strawberry ice creams."

The woman ordered the cashier.

When they were ready, they took a seat which was right by the glass. Makes the eyes free to see the highway traffic.

"Do you like strawberries too?" Fiona asked starting the conversation.

"It's just not normal. My sister prefers Vanilla. I'm just curious, so I ordered it," he explained.

"I like vanilla just like Fania," said Fiona quietly but audibly.

"Fania who?"

"My twin sister. We are twins but she is much prettier and more beautiful anyway."

"Identical twins, right? That means they're all the same."

"It's different, he's more well-groomed."

"Your heart is also well-groomed," said the woman, giving a sweet smile.

"Oh yeah, my name is Fiona. Usually my friends like to call me Fio or Fi."

"Oh yes, I almost forgot. We haven't met yet, have we? Yasmin's sister's name. You can call her Yas or whatever as long as it's not Min. You'll think it's Sarimin again!" Yasmin joked.

"Ha ha..." Fiona laughed loosely. For a moment he forgot how annoyed she was at Yoseph's annoying birthday.

30 minutes have passed but they are still busy chatting to exchange stories. Including telling the incident of Yoseph's birthday that had annoyed him.

Not long after that a man appeared and approached Yasmin.

"Fi, this is Yoseph, my brother. Yos is Fiona."

"Oh hi Fi," said Joseph.

"Who are you?" Yoseph asked as he sat beside Yasmin—the only family he had.

"Don't you remember, I was almost robbed at that time? Well, he helped me."

"You mean the brother who chased the pickpocket, was she?"

"Yeah, it's insanely cool!" praise Yasmin.

"Oh. He's my classmate, Sis," Yoseph said honestly.

"Oh, could it be you who threw the birthday cake in Fiona's face?"

"Yes, it's not sis. That's Fandi's job!" Yoseph denied that he did not accept it.

"But at least Fandi is still helping me to clean my face. Is it like you? Just run away," quipped Fiona.

"I'm not running away!"

"But it's still frozen. You're just not magical!" Joseph sighed.

"Lucky you-"

"What?! me why?!"

Joseph didn't answer. After provoking Fiona's annoyance, which began to subside, he instead returned to lure her and fell silent.

"Oh my God, my brothers and sisters! Don't fight anymore, I'll love you later," Yasmin teased.

"Ugh," said Joseph.

The next day Fiona went to school as usual. He thought that meeting him and Yoseph yesterday was just an ordinary thing and a mere coincidence.

Even when passing by, Fiona doesn't smile at all.

"Why didn't you tell me that yesterday was Joseph's birthday?" asked Devika.

"Firstly. Dev, it's still very early, what are you really talking about like that. Second, you're the one who likes him, honey, not me. Why am I the one being blamed!"

"Well, yes. Sorry. It's over, I just don't accept it. When I lost to Firda, I gave her a surprise."

"Well, that's just how complicated you are."

"Give it up!" Devika is annoyed and leaves Fiona.

"Shouldn't it be the one who's annoyed with me? Why is he more fierce?" said Fiona with an incredulous face.

After Devika left the class, Fiona didn't leave the class at all. Waiting for the students to arrive one by one while walking around the classroom, either paying attention to the interior, looking at the class notice board, to checking every table that was crossed out by the students. He saw that there was a table with his name written in Korean hanggeul.

"Whose table is this? Why is there-"

"My table! why is that?" said Firda who suddenly appeared.

It felt like he was just in a better mood. Now it's even ruined by that annoying human. A naughty girl and feels she is always in the top position in anything. I don't know if it's a matter of value, too, Joseph.

"Really?"

"Why did I lie to you? Can I really increase my Instagram followers?"

"Well, just relax."

Fiona returned to her seat. The bell signaling the start of the first lesson had rung.

A few days later...

Today is the schedule for the students to clean the school. Fiona's class gets to clean the school grounds. At least it's definitely better than it was two weeks ago. Cleaning school toilets. Fiona really hated that even though not many complaints came out of her mouth.

"Why don't you complain, Fi?" asked Devika.

"Well, Dev, you forgot, right? Just clean the toilet. Fiona is a bit of a complaint, especially in an open space like this. Come on, you don't have to protest too much. It's good to know you can watch the cogans here. Isn't that right?" said Elea.

"Cogan, I'm only Yoseph," said Devika dramatically.

Fiona and Elea resumed their previous activities. Sweeping the school grounds. After thirty minutes the students took a break.

"Crazy! So tired huh?" Devika said while wiping her forehead with the back of her hand.

From a distance, Joseph was seen walking towards the three of them.

"Here, for you Fi," he said, handing him a half-sized bottle filled with cold mineral water.

"You must be tired, right?" he continued. Fiona just didn't move.

"Thanks, Jos!" said Devika after snatching the mineral bottle from Yoseph's grip. Even though Fiona's hand just wanted to take the mineral water.

After Yoseph returned with two of his relatives, Fiona was questioned by his two friends.

Devika glanced sarcastically.

"Explain to me, what special relationship do you have with him?" asked Devika.

"Nothing, Dev."

"Then why does he pay attention to you? Give you a drink. The one who drags his throat is me."

"How do I know, Dev. You just ask Yoseph. I didn't ask for it, but it was offered."

"It's the same!"

"Different degrees Devika! What are you doing interrogating Fiona anyways?" defend El.

Devika didn't answer except pursed her lips. It hasn't been a week, but Fiona has managed to upset Devika twice.

Not yet finished with Devika's curiosity, suddenly Firda joined in attacking her. Fiona sighed.

"Moreover, this is my God," Fiona whispered in a whisper.

"Since when have you been close to Yoseph?" asked Firda.
