Synopsis
"Oh, pretty girl~ You should've thought twice before helping me. But aren't you glad that I'm the one who you helped instead of other maniac vampires? Hehe ~Well, let's seal the deal already, pretty girl. Let me have your sweet blood. " What would happen if a person who doesn't believe in mythical creatures such as vampires met one? Well, it depends on what they believe in. Some may think that there is nothing to fear about them, others might be terrified and run away at the sight of one, but some will choose not to. It could either be good or bad news, depending on how the encounter went. But there was one thing for sure, no matter which way the encounter went, it was going to turn into something else altogether. It could either be frightening and scary, or it could be fun and exciting.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

"Eh...?" Left the quivering lips of the brown-haired girl as she froze in her place, watching the scene in front of her with wide and quivering green eyes.

Her mind went completely blank. She didn't know what to do, or how to react. She just stood there without moving or speaking a word for minutes. This was all too unreal to actually happen, but here she was, seeing everything that happened right in front of her very own eyes.

The person she likes the most, her one and only best friend, was kissing another girl. Her best friend, who she has known and loved for years now. And the girl her best friend is kissing is also the girl that has her so much insecure about her own self.

'How does it feel? How do you feel watching the boy you like very much kissing someone else? And what's more, it's the person you envied the most. Oh my, how does it feel?'

A voice whispered in the back of her mind, making her shiver slightly in uneasiness at the same time. She felt disgusted. She felt like running away from them before she could see any further. But her feet were glued on the ground, her body unable to move or speak up.

The air seemed to be freezing and suffocating around the brown-haired girl, leaving a faint feeling of nausea, it was starting hard to breathe.

Despite the negative feeling rising and the aching pain in her chest, not a single tear was shed. The brown-haired girl was already numb from everything else and just simply didn't want to deal with another emotional pain right now.

It hurt too much and she couldn't bear the fact that her feelings won't be reciprocated. The brunette can't cry nor can she do anything. All she can do is watch her best friend, the boy he likes kissing the girl who always made her insecure and doubt her own self.

The brunette felt like crying but it feels impossible for tears to flow out of her eyes. Even if she wanted to cry, nothing would happen. Her eyes were completely dry and the only thing left inside was a heavy feeling of numbness which she couldn't feel any part of her body anymore.

'Do you feel bitter because he didn't choose you despite being there by his side when nobody was? Or angry because out of all people, he chose her, the perfect girl? Or fear because you'll be left alone again? Back to being alone in this cold and cruel world. No friends, no lover, nothing. You're all by yourself again, no friends and all alone.'

The small voice behind her mind speaks up yet again. It sounded like it was mocking her. It taunted her. Saying those words over and over again, getting closer to make itself heard. Making its presence known, just like it always did. And she wanted it to shut up.

But it kept whispering those hateful words to her, as loud and clear as day. She couldn't escape the voice. Those words repeated themselves in her mind as she stared ahead of her at where they were currently standing, the blond pulling away first while the white-haired girl stilled in her place.

'What a pitiful child.'

The thoughts continued and they kept on piling up more and more, only to snap out when she saw the white-haired looking at her with wide eyes after she pulled away from the blonde. She looks so surprised the moment her brown eyes meet a pair of green ones.

The brown-haired girl keep staring at them with a stoic face before turning around on her heels and starts walking away when she saw her best friend turn his head to look at her. She could barely take the sight of him and his arms around the white hair.

He looked so happy and relaxed as if nothing bad has ever happened between them. The brunette could only wish she felt that way. Her walk soon turns into a run, almost stumbling once or twice due to her heavy breathing and her rapid heartbeat. Her hands were trembling with every step she took.
