Tomoko heaves out a sigh as she stretches her neck to the side, a hand rubbing the side of her neck as the pain she felt from it triples.
"What's this weird marking?" She whispers to herself, tilting her head sideways as she looks at the mirror, eyeing what seems to be a tattoo of a rose.
"I don't remember going to a tattoo parlour and getting one, so why do I have one?" With a raised brow, she went to touch it but as soon as her fingers made a contact with it, she flinched as it stung her.
Her breath catches in her throat, the pain seeming to grow more intense but still manageable.
She continues to stare at it before pulling up her collar and fixing her collar and tie when she heard footsteps nearing, a bit thankful that her collars can cover it, hiding it from prying eyes.
After fixing herself and washing her hands, she left the comfort room. She walks down the corridor, heading to the archery club for her daily attendance and activity until she came to a halt when she heard her name being called.
Turning around, she was met with a pair of brown eyes and nose almost touching causing her to stumble backwards but thankfully didn't lose her balance.
"Hello, senpai!" A white hair greets her with a cheerful voice causing the brunette to cringe a little at her loud voice. A smile was on the female's face and Tomoko had seen her before. At least they passed each other in school every day.
'Nishioka Yuko... Second-year student and the current secretary of the student council.'
She thought to herself as she regain her composure, seeing the blonde behind the white hair who seems to be running full speed towards them.
'Ah, the girl that you always feel insecure about and the one that brings your disgusting and self-centred self out? Ahh, no wonder Yoshito likes him. You lose in every aspect, you're only a mere insect compared to her.'
The voice spat in a mocking tone and Tomoko couldn't help the small frown on her face. But she was quick to hide it, masking it up with her usual poker face. She could never afford to let anyone know of her personal thoughts or feelings towards this girl.
As much as half of her hates the girls very much, she can't bring herself to really do something bad or cause her trouble. Not especially when she's this kind towards her. Noticing how silent she was, the white-haired spoke up.
"Is something wrong?" She asked worriedly causing her to snap her out of her thoughts before shaking her head in response.
"I'm fine." Her reply was short and quick, not wanting to admit to the fact that she doesn't like the girl in front of her, even though she knows she shouldn't. A small yet visible frown formed on the white hair's lips and she was about to speak, but before she could, she was cut off by a hand placed on her shoulder.
"Yuko, I've told you before. Tomo is not feeling well and needs some rest. And don't run in the hallway!" Yoshito exclaimed the last part, scolding the younger girl. The white-haired just looked away with a small pout on her face, muttering a quiet apology.
"Let me introduce this, this is the student council's secretary and a second-year, Nishioka Yuko." The male introduces the white hair and she bows her head a little at the brunette. He then turned his attention back to Tomoko, patting her head before speaking.
"Are you feeling a little better?" Yoshito ask. She just nodded, avoiding looking at the blonde, taking a few steps away from the blonde.
"That's good to hear. I hope senpai will get better soon!" The white hair smiled at the brunette while she just simply nod her head.
"Yuko is really a nice girl, isn't she? So kind and cheerful!" Yoshito smiled, giving her some head pats. Tomoko didn't respond and just avert her gaze when the voice speaks up again.
'Oh? Will you look at that, they're showing off their affection for each other. It seems like they're both pretty fond of each other. Do you feel bitter, hmm, Tomo? Do you hate them? Are you angry? Or sad? Or hurt?'
She winces slightly at the thoughts that enter her mind but quickly shake them aside, hoping it'll all disappear. It didn't work, however. Knowing she can't shake it off, she just decided to leave before something bad would happen.
"I'd better get going now, I still have practice. See you around, Nishioka-san. It was nice meeting you." Tomoko bid with a wave and turn on her heels before any of them could utter a word, brushing off the small frown that reside on the white hair's lips.
As soon as the brunette was out of sight, the white hair turn around on her heels and walk away, leaving the blonde who was calling her name behind.
'Tsk! How long will it take for me and Tomo-senpai to be friends. I'm really hoping we will soon, and in the meantime, I need to endure this crappy situation that I put myself into. Well, anything can be endured when it comes to Tomoko-senpai, I can-no, I will endure everything. Just to get her.'
A sweet yet sinister smile plaster her face as her brown eyes starts to glow until they turned red.
