"Noah, I am sleepy…" Izzy muttered while being half-asleep. She was lying naked on her bed and sleeping soundly with her arms wrapped around Noah.
"Then why don't you just sleep?" Noak asked with a smile that he knew couldn't be seen by Izzy.
"Good idea." Izzy yawned. In a matter of seconds, she was soundly asleep. Noah was jealous of her ability to sleep this quickly but then, she had been tired by the long session they had.
'Maybe I overdid it. It was her first time after all.' Noah thought but it was already too late. The rice had already been cooked.
Noah silently took Izzy's arm off his body before summoning his phone from the storage of his Soul book.
The time was three in the morning yet Noah looked wide awake. He immediately scrolled through Yoogle.
He went to the local news channel's website. Suddenly, Noah's lips curled up to form a grin as he stared at the article in front of him.
[ Mission completed. ]
The notification arrived a bit later as Noah stood up from the bed and wore his clothes. He silently teleported out of the room and made his way out of the house.
Noah casually walked around the streets despite the time. After all, he had no reason to be afraid of doing it.
He kept on walking until he reached his old house. Once there, Noah teleported to his room and sat on the ground with his back against the wall.
'I wonder if I am about to be handed a book.' Noah wondered silently.
He opened the quest section and collected the rewards for the quest he completed.
Noah sat back with a curious expression as he waited for his reward to be handed. However, nothing happened for the first few minutes.
'I wonder if this thing broke down.' Noah mused while looking at the sky. Could his reward have broken the world?
"No, you didn't break the world. It's just the way I created this message to be."
Noah suddenly jolted up as he looked around with a bewildered expression. He had definitely heard another voice, which if he was correct, had belonged to someone he knew.
"No need to think about it that way. I am Aiko only, or Ayame if this plan succeeded." The voice echoed inside Noah's mind.
He identified it as Ayame's voice, something he had heard a lot when he had been staying at the palace of time.
"This is a pre-recorded message so don't bother asking or saying anything. I am just here to tell you things that you need to know about the timeline you are currently in." Ayame muttered as Noah took a deep breath.
He didn't say anything and simply waited for the message to continue.
"I spent years finding the perfect timeline for you, which now that I look back at it, makes me sound like a stalker. But never mind that. The timeline you are in currently should already be different from the original one in many aspects.
By the time you are receiving this message, you might have already met Stella and Eve."
Noah narrowed his eyes when Ayame's voice mentioned Eve and Stella. Had she deliberately sent him into a timeline where he would meet them?
"I can kinda imagine what you are thinking and yes, you are correct. Those two would've ended extremely worse if not for your interference. You must stick close to them because trust me, both of them are important.
You can try being friends with them or perhaps going beyond that but stay close to them. You have to make sure that they visit you in the academy exactly ten days after you arrive there.
I can't explain why but please make some excuse to do this. Both of them are very important for the endgame."
The voice suddenly went silent. Noah took in a deep breath as he tried to comprehend what he had just heard.
It sounded extremely believable considering the fact that Ayame had been responsible for sending him into the past.
"Also, I am sure you didn't upgrade Infinite Incanctum so make sure to do that. You might have taken the ring from that micropenis guy so use it once before selling it away. You are definitely going to have multiple wives so keep them happy."
The voice once again fell silent, making Noah think that the message was over. However, Ayame spoke one final sentence before going completely silent.
"Go rewrite the future."
Noah sat there in silence for a few seconds before upgrading his Infinite Incanctum.
< Universal Incanctum
- Don't know what's supposed to be here. You basically control everything in a short area which can be expanded over time. >
Noah's jaw twitched when he read the information about the upgraded version of the skill. It was clear that even the world couldn't come up with an accurate description for this skill.
However, there was one thing Noah didn't look forward to, and that was the side effects of using the skill.
There was a separate column present for it and when Noah opened it up, he immediately closed it a minute later.
'What the heck does lasagna balls even mean? Also, curry kidneys? Are these the name of some bizarre food dishes?' Noah couldn't help but wonder before he took out the ring he had obtained from Checzoloa.
He looked at the silver-patterned ring once before inserting some mana inside and activating its special property.
[ Would you like to obtain the special ability 'Fear Aura' as a passive ability? ]
'Oh?' Noah looked at the notification with an interested gaze before pressing yes.
The moment he received the skill, he upgraded it and got another skill called 'Predator Aura'. It was basically the upgraded version that induced fear in people present around him in a 100-meter spherical range.
He then tossed the ring back into the storage and was about to leave the house when Ayame's voice returned.
"Now that you might have done the things I told you earlier, you should know that Zuki is standing right outside the house. Good luck, Noah."
