Noah knew about all of the mentioned things yet only the skill part had been present in his previous life.
The requirements also became much tougher the further up he moved. Since only those with an A grade or higher affinity could control natural elements, the requirement for S rank included natural control.
The requirement for SS rank confused Noah. What exactly did one consider mastery over an element?
'At least the requirements for the SSS rank are still the same.' Noah smiled inwardly.
Only spirit magicians could reach the SSS rank. It was impossible for any other mage to rise to that rank.
'If things are still the same, I can leave this realm once I have managed to reach SS rank. The option should unlock for me then.' Noah thought while glancing over at the book again.
There were a lot of things that were still unclear for him but Noah knew that he would have to fulfill the mentioned requirements.
"What's my current rank though..." he murmured before summoning his soul book.
Noah opened his status page there and saw a newly added section on the status page.

Noah sighed after taking a look at his rank. The only was to advance to the next rank was to learn how to create a mana scroll or learn to wield an elemental weapon.
A mana scroll simply referred to a scroll embedded with one's mana. It could be used for instant casting, storing mana, creating traps and a few other things.
The second option was self explanatory. Noah simply had to lift a weapon and use his mana on it to create an elemental/mana weapon.
'According to my memory, only weapons made from certain metals and embedded with runes could be used as elemental weapons.'
To test his theory, Noah took out Oathbreaker from his storage. It was the sword he had won from the random weapon gacha.
Normal weapons simply broke down when mana was injected into them. They weren't strong enough to keep that mana inside them and prevented their user from wielding them.
'But Oathbreaker won't break.' Noah smiled, his hand wrapping around the sword's hilt.
He had already covered it with his dark mana which prevented the curse from activating. Furthermore, the sword couldn't be broken by its wielder.
"Fire should be the easiest…" Noah muttered to himself. He raised the sword in the air before passing his fire mana inside the blade.
The mana left his hand and moved through the sword's hilt. Noah felt the room's temperature rising while the mana wrapped around the sword's blade.
Oathbreaker's plain blade slowly started turning flaming orange. Noah's fire mana slithered to the tip of the sword and bathed the sword in a fiery glow.
It looked like a sword made from lava, one usually wielded by heroes in fantasy novels. Only Noah knew that the sword would break the moment it clashed against another blade.
'I guess its better to get rid of this sword at this moment and increase my rank at the same time.'
Noah used his Earth magic to summon a six feet tall pillar in front of him. Noah could only increase his rank by striking Oathbreaker against an object.
That would prove that he had created an elemental weapon. Oathbreaker, however, would shatter the moment it would hit anything.
Noah hadn't figured this out until he had first used the sword against another sword wielder. It had shattered on impact since the other party had been using an elemental sword.
"Farewell, piece of trash." Noah said his farewell before slashing the pillar with Oathbreaker.
*Swish!*
Much to Noah's shock, Oathbreaker easily cut through the earth pillar.
One could even say that the earth pillar had been made from chocolate due to how easily it was slashed in half.
'Am I using the same sword?' Noah wondered in disbelief.
He glared at Oathbreaker with suspiciously, hoping to discover something wrong with the sword.
Noah couldn't find anything wrong with the sword so he turned on his powers. There was definitely something wrong with either of the two things.
"I guess you have finally realized that something isn't right with Oathbreaker. This is because you never used it correctly in the first place." Ayame's voice suddenly washed over the surroundings.
'I am starting to wonder whether she is keeping an eye on me…' Noah silently thought. Ayame's timing was way too good to be pre-planned.
"No I am not watching over you. I just searched things like I was planning to kidnap you. This message was only supposed to play if you learned the truth about Oathbreaker.
If you didn't do that and instead broke the sword beforehand, this message would've never played." Ayame's voice countered his theory.
Noah sat down on the bed and decided to silently hear what Ayame had to say.
"Oathbreaker isn't a true cursed weapon, its description is written wrong. The only reason you got that through the gacha is because you didn't use such an overpowered weapon the first time." Ayame explained.
Noah once again glanced at the sword while wondering how it could be overpowered. The explanation for that was soon told by Ayame's voice.
"Oathbreaker is a weapon that can't break as long as its wielded by its user AND it's fighting something at the same level as it. Meaning that Oathbreaker can destroy any normal sword when you use it normally.
If you use it as an elemental sword, it can destroy any elemental sword and so on. The only limit is that you can't use it to advance to the SS rank." Ayame informed.
The small amount of presence she had vanished at the same speed her voice had arrived.
Noah was left sitting on the ground with a baffled expression on his face.
"I had such a powerful weapon and I couldn't use it due to a bad description. Great…"

AN: Its been near two months since I have published this novel yet I haven't received a contract... It's pretty hard to write consistently without any motivation. I am afraid I will have to slow down releases now...
