Blair's wearing a conspicuous lip gloss today, Cadmus noticed.
It was most likely Hershey's doing. Then again, Blair had no sense of fashion or self-awareness. It seemed Hershey knew her well.
It's colored like strawberry jelly, and there's even a stupid little strawberry with sunglasses stuck on the label, which was perfectly appealing to simple-minded people like Winifred. There shouldn't be any problem. But the thing was, the distinguished son of the Mondragon clan found himself bothered by something as inane as her sticking out her tongue to swipe over her bottom lip.
"Oh, it suits you!" Hershey cooed with delight. "I knew you're a spring. I'm just that good."
"I'm Blair," Blair corrected with a straight face. "Not a spring."
She's still sticking her tongue out. Still swiping over her mouth.
And she kept doing it. All godforsaken day.
During breaks. In class. At lunch.
