Perhaps, because she was too confused as to why the heck happened and he got himself cured in the North. She was bewildered because she also thought he wouldn't be back alive and instead, his return would be his death. She was devastated that he didn't die and rather returned with great health. It also appeared his skills have improved a lot considering that his aura had changed drastically.
Maybe it was his plan all along. To hide in the North and let others wonder how and why he got home alive and safe. She frowned and smiled at him. Naxzi knew in the inside that she was planning how to kill him right after knowing he got back safely and even carried victory with him.
Jaekin stepped forward and shook hands with him as to pretend that she was congratulating him for his return.
