After that, Sencha and Naxzi were distant to each other. Even the General couldn't say a thing whenever he was in the meeting with the rest of them regarding the killing of the beasts. There are still left villages to check the situation there and lands to see if beasts would be prone once they leave.
Three days had passed, and the General had to leave early because the Emperor called for him suddenly.
The General didn't know the reason why the Emperor would call for him when he knew that he'd be assisting Duke Mothelm in dealing with the beasts. The General was feeling uneasy about this.
His second wife had also stopped sending letters about how the residence is doing and how she is these days. Even though he doesn't have feelings for her as his wife, he was still worried because she could pose a threat to him under the hands of the emperor.
