In the car, Kora sat on the passenger seat while Darren drove, her countenance was bright and she had a faint glow on her skin that glistened as the sun's rays fell on her skin. Her skin had always looked tanned but under the rays of the setting sun, it had a golden glow that made it impossible for him to take his eyes off of her and focus on the road while he drove.
She was happy and it reflected even on her skin. There was a faint smile on her lips as she stared at the passing trees and landmarks. The window was wound down and the wind lightly blew on her hair making it flutter. The sight brought a smile to his lips and a sense of satisfaction to his heart.
He loved to see her like this. Happy and free without having to worry about anything. Being and acting her age even if it was only once in a while, he loved it and wished he could just keep her that way.
