Later in the evening…
Amayah lugged two heavy shopping bags back to the Rosewood Mansion. She was about to press the doorbell when she suddenly heard the lock being opened from the inside.
The door opened and she saw Butler Alfred there ready to welcome her back home.
After a few encounters Butler Alfred had left a good impression on her. Furthermore he was the only one aside from Nolan who she knew in this household well, so she didn't feel that awkward as she did with other servants.
He bowed and greeted her. "Welcome back, Young miss, that's certainly a lot of food. Have you bought all this for our young master?"
He tried to help Amayah carry the bags, but she just waved her hand, denying him.
Amayah smiled awkwardly and admitted, "Yes, I thought I should buy a bit more this time and stock up the fridge. That way, I wouldn't have to go to the supermarket everyday."
