That's when Summer realized that she ended up speaking up her thoughts aloud. Her face immediately turned into a crimson tint, as she sharply turned her face away from Josh's direction. "N-no, no. Nothing in particular, hehe."
"Well… if you say so." Quite confused, Josh responded in a lowered voice, fixing his eyes on the television remote sitting on top of the table in front of him. Weird, isn't she? He couldn't help but think like that. He took the remote in his hands, and turned on the television. As usual of Irvyn's habit, the tv was left on a news channel, which was right now telecasting the morning news highlights once again. But what he noticed wasn't the reporter reading out the news highlights, but the silence in the living room. Somehow, that was making too much of its presence, the silence that is. And Josh was someone who can't tolerate the very presence of silence.
