"I-I admit… that it was rather, misleading or as you said, deceiving," Yvette hesitated a bit, taken aback by his direct confrontation. She never imagined him to be someone who would really bicker about how he was deceived on a date with a possible marriage candidate, but there was no way she should be paying for it like this. She took a breath in before finishing her words. "Mr. Collins, I am sorry to say, but this conduct of yours is so not acceptable. In any way, I am not the least bit interested or willing to marry anyone."
Yvette finally left her chair, and with a stern look on her, she walked away, towards the door.
But one word from Irvyn, made her freeze in her steps. And as soon as she processed what he said, a large flame of rage came bubbling in her.
"Is this because of Glen, that you are not 'least bit interested in marriage'?"
