Yvette broke out of her daze when the car pulled over to a halt. She looked out of the window, and her eyes fell on the tall building in front of her, just beside the busy city roads with all the motor engines rushing at their routine speed.
Wasn't she supposed to go to the Collins' household? Then why is she here, in a commercial area, instead of the oh-so-famous secluded area, all to the end of the city where no city hustles and noises penetrate through?
She kept wondering about this, while her vision was blocked by Josh, who stepped ahead and opened the door for her. Getting the cue, she got out of the car, looking around with questions in her mind.
"You must be thinking about why I brought you here instead of taking you home," Josh spoke up, detecting the confusion in her. "But I was ordered to take you to his office."
