"I think they're gone..." the unit member that spotted they were tailed by a monster said. This member was a part of the espionage unit back in their military camp. He might not be the mysterious unit's main fighting force, but he had his usefulness at a time like this.
"How confident are you?" the team leader asked. Unlike Hespar's Mortal's Authority, his Aura is more for physical uses. Unless Hespar releases another Aura pulse again, it would be hard for him to sense how close they were.
"Very confident, Sir." the unit member replied.
"Let's get deeper before we move out of this zone by going south. In case of unexpected changes, discard the monster parts we don't need." said the leader.
"There won't be a change of order from now on. Move!" the leader said after raising the tone by a decibel. Like what Hespar's unit was doing, they too went opposite to where Hespar was heading.
