Or they wouldn't end up exhausted from traveling nonstop from the battlefield, where the distance can be covered by a quarter of a day. But now, five hours are all they need to reach the same battlefield these messengers came from.
That's how fast and powerful the stamina of a Plain Chaser breed was. The only downside of these horses is their carrying weight. But if they're given more time to mature, this could hardly become a problem.
