"Hi, my love! Your gorgeous girlfriend is now here."
Garret stops his hand from typing and waits for Adrianna to open the door of his office. Seconds later, Adrianna showed up before closing the door and clicking the lock on its doorknob. She quickly walked towards him and sit on his lap. Garret naturally placed an arm around her back to prevent her from falling while his girlfriend is busy kissing his cheeks.
"What's this? You miss me a lot?" Adrianna asked with a huge smile on her face.
"Adrianna, we just literally saw each other five hours ago."
"So you didn't miss me?"
"That's—"
"I knew it. You just want to be with me because you want my inheritance and my son. How can you love our son and desire my money but choose to dispose of me?"
Garret did not say anything and just quietly watch his girlfriend with a raised brow while wiping the non-existing tears on her face.
