He couldn't help but sigh, "The love between young couples really is enviable!"
But he forgot that he was still young himself.
Since he planned to go out for dinner that afternoon, after returning to his dormitory, he picked up a medical book to read.
Time simply flew by while he was reading.
At five-forty, Tan Xiaofeng came back from work:
"Doctor Lu, you haven't left yet?"
Lu Jing had just come out to drink some water and nodded:
"Didn't we agree on six o'clock?"
The place they had planned wasn't far, just a few minutes away.
"Right, almost time, I'll change my outfit, and then we can head out together!"
"Okay!"
...
Five minutes later, Dr. Tan had changed into an emerald green dress, wearing small wedge leather shoes, and even let her usually tied-up hair down, cascading over her shoulders. In such a short time, she had even put on light makeup.
Lu Jing, on the other hand, hadn't done any of that; just a T-shirt and jeans.
