She could not help but be nervous. It was the first time her mother would finally meet Dom.
She of course has told her mother about him during their recent phone call. It could not be helped since she had to at least insinuate that she was dating the guy.
Her mother's approval matters to her a lot, but she knew even if she did not give it, she would not be able to push Dominus away. That is why she could not help but be stressed.
"Hey, what are you nervous about sweetie?" her mother asked.
She and Dominus have different courses and while they were graduating on the same day, her batch already walked ahead of his.
"Nothing ma," she bit her lower lip as she removed her toga and gently placed it inside her tote.
"Let's go grab lunch, honey," her mother called her attention as she tried to look for any sign of Dominus.
"Mom, can we wait a bit?" she would beg if she had to.
