"I've been looking everywhere for you," there was a worry in his voice as he pulled her to him, embracing her tight.
"I... I have just been to the restroom," she lied. There was no way she could tell him what happened.
Dominus has always been too protective of her. She knew he would act on impulse and commit violence if he knew.
It is not that she was protecting the jerk who stole her first kiss. She just could not let him get into trouble.
Dominus is too important for her to let him get ruined for the sake of defending her. She needed to be okay if it was what it takes to keep the calm.
