Chereads / THE ENCHANTER BLACK PEARL (ENGLISH VERSION) / Chapter 20 - THE ENEMY BEHIND THE BLANKET

Chapter 20 - THE ENEMY BEHIND THE BLANKET

It was getting dark at night, and it was time for us to rest. Timoti gathered with the men and me with the women in separate rooms. The conversation between us began to be fun until late at night.

After being tired, they finally fell asleep, but my consciousness never faded. I'm still thinking about Black Pearl, who hasn't even said anything from his lips to me.

A strange mystery that humans don't understand, and I can only guess what happened to it without knowing the root of the problem.

Lavanya is still in a state of confusion and panic.

"Is that what he meant?" Lavanya shouted suddenly.

"Lavanya! Hah... my heart almost jumped out of my throat. So? What do you mean?" I asked her.

While waiting for her answer, I stared at the night from the wooden window. What a beautiful moon. I didn't think I could still see the moon without my eyes.

"Hera!"

I gasped.

"Hurry up and get away from them!" Lavanya whispered.

Confused, I began to sneak up and out of the house without realizing I was in the middle of an apple orchard. I panicked. Without thinking, I continued to run on the bumpy ground.

"Black Pearl, hold on!" Lavanya whispered.

Her words scared and confused me.

"Legs are quite slow!" I'm annoyed.

I quickly took out my wings and started flying away.

"Who's that?" For a moment, I saw a glimpse of a shadow.

"Maybe it's just me," I thought.

Once away from their settlement.

"Hah! Hah! How is the condition?" I asked breathlessly.

Lavanya was silent.

"In this case!" Then I tried to get into my body to meet them.

"Lavanya!"

"Hera! What are you doing here? How about your body?" asked Lavanya frantically.

"This is not the time to worry about that. Black Pearls! Be aware! Tch!" I growled.

After waiting for the Black Pearl to get worse, his body finally calmed down, and his eyelids began to open.

"Black Pearls!" call us both.

Our eyes widen with emotion when we see Black Pearl can open his eyes again.

"I thought you're going to die!" Lavanya shouted while shaking the Black Pearl's body.

He just smiled and let Lavanya whine until she was satisfied. I smiled, relieved to see he was fine.

"Oh, my head!"

"Just slowly!" I said.

"Hera, what are you doing here?" asked the astonished Black Pearl.

I was just sad to see Black Pearl's half-angry expression.

"Never mind, she was so worried about you that she left her body to see you in person," said Lavanya.

The Black Pearl looked away.

"So, what really happened?" asked Lavanya.

Black Pearl started to put on a serious face and pursed his lips.

"They're in contact with him," replied Black Pearl slowly.

"What are you saying!" Lavanya shouted.

"Who is 'Him'?" I asked.

Then they turned their faces away as if they didn't want to tell me about it. I'm really sad to see their current response.

But their bodies trembled.

"Hahaha, stop looking at her sad face," Lavanya said while hugging me.

I just burst into tears in his embrace.

"You guys are bad!" I'm quietly annoyed.

"Sorry, we just wanted to prank you," added Black Pearl.

Then he returned to his serious face.

"Is he? Hmm, I don't know what he's thinking. He is one of our brothers. In the past, he was the only magic stone that transformed into a human and mingled with them." Say, Black Pearl.

Then Lavanya stood up and left.

"I'll replace you control this body," he said, walking away.

"Looks like he doesn't want to hear this story," I thought.

"The first time I was with him, he was always by my side no matter what happened, but after that incident, we were scattered in various places, and only he became a human," he said.

"Hmm, interesting. Is he still out there?" I asked.

The Black Pearl nodded.

"Hera, you still must train your body and magic to contain all those scattered magic stones. Right now, you only control 25% of our power," he said.

"What is 25%? Are you kidding? I can just destroy a city with that," I marveled.

"Are they fighting?" he asked again.

I fell silent.

"Every magic has its weaknesses, and the signs of those weaknesses have you seen by now," he continued.

I saw his body that put on a sad face made me unable to look at him.

"Then who do you mean?" I asked, aiming to uncover the mystery behind the 'Him.'

"Gafas," he answered shortly.

"Isn't every magic stone a color?" I asked.

"Yes, right! And the magic is red." Black Pearl replied.

I was stunned and gasped at Black Pearl's answer. Anger and anger began to fill my heart and mind. Does the vampire have anything to do with Gafas? Then where can I find it?

"Hera!" call Black Pearl.

I gasped. "Yes!"

"What do you think? I called you a long time ago. Haha! You better get back before things get worse out there."

"Chaotic?!" I immediately woke myself up.

"Haa! What are you doing, Lavanya?" I asked her who was still in control of my body.

I can only see from one eye the body. I see not one of the beauties of the moon that I have seen from behind the window but the residents of that place who are trying to fight me with all their might.

"What are you doing? Why did you guys attack us?!" I bluff.

But they didn't budge. I looked around carefully, but I didn't find anything strange other than the absence of the stupid man's presence.

"Where's Timothy?" I asked.

"We won't let witches come near him," Hercules replied.

"What?"

"It seems they can't be invited to cooperate," said Lavanya.

I glanced at him sharply.

"Hehe." His laughter.

I don't want to kill them, but I must do this.

"Okay! Black Pearls!" call me.

Everyone was silent, and nothing happened. I panicked and embarrassed him.

"Why doesn't he answer! Irritating!" I'm annoyed.

Lavanya was silent.

"Do you know anything?" I asked.

She just rolled his eyes.

"Hah, you didn't give up either. His weakness is red magic; how could he be willing to fight it, "said Lavanya.

"Really, but…."

"Hera, watch out!" Lavanya shouted.

A hammer flew in, covered in a disgusting blood-red color and reminded me of Grandma.

"I will not spare you, red magic heirs!" I shouted as I pulled out Hawthorn's hand.

I managed to get rid of the hammer, but the magnitude of the attack left a wound on my hand. When I was about to strike back, I didn't expect the hammer to hit me again from behind.

Responsively I caught the hammer with all my might.

"Heavy! What magic exactly did they use?"

Hercules did not want to give up. He continued to pull the hammer, and in response, his friend began to attack me, who was restrained by the hammer.

Spears and arrows began to approach me at high speed. Their magical soot was denser than the vampires.

"Heal!" I tried to reverse the hammer like all and wanted to heal myself from their vicious attacks.

But because of my lack of mastery of all the magic that the two of them gave me, I didn't move at all.

When Loki started throwing his axe, the ax blade seemed to want to devour me. The glow of the moonlight made me realize how sharp this weapon was.

"Timothy!" I shouted.

"I—I will help you!" Timothy said breathlessly.

"Nice! I can do my job!"
