Chapter 21 - ABLA

"Black Pearl, our situation is dire. We can lose by the sum of their strength!" I shouted to make him aware of the situation.

"I know it!" he insisted.

Their attacks were strong enough to make us fall into their hands. This is a bit strange; judging from their movements, they don't show anything out of the ordinary, but I realized there was no way they could suppress me, who had 2 magic pearls in my body.

"Lavanya, do you have other powers like Jervin?" I asked.

I realized there was no way Lavanya could only have healing magic since even the creatures she bestowed could control the forest. Even so, the power of each pearl was a mystery to me.

"At least you have to have one of the items that Black Pearl said to contain it all!" she replied.

I still continued to dodge their fatal attacks. For a moment implied something in my brain. In the corner of the banquet building is a suspicious barn.

"Timoti, can you distract them for a while?" I asked.

Timothy looked at me with fear, but it seemed like he kept racing his heart to fight his fear of them.

"I won't force you," I whispered.

His skeptical eyes turned straight, and he said, "I'll give you ten … Not! 5 minutes for that!"

My heart seemed to be pumped to hear the answer.

"Thank you," I said as I left my lips on his cheek.

I forcefully threw Timoti at them; Timoti coated himself with a shield to reduce the impact of the attacks of these red humans.

Seeing a good opportunity, I ran away and headed straight for the barn. When the barn door opened.

"No matter where I look, this barn is really mysterious."

Just five steps when I approached the wooden door of the barn, I smelled a familiar fishy smell. This scent really holds a mysterious secret.

Strands of blood were scattered, but the color of the blood was not as we knew it; the fishy smell was also quite unique, but we could not know what we would find in this rickety barn.

"Did you smell it?" I whispered.

"Ha," they both replied.

"Honey, at your feet!" Spontaneous Lavanya.

I immediately fell over and saw my feet covered in fresh red blood with a faint bluish-white powder sticking to my feet.

"What's this?!"

"Abla!" replied the Black Pearl.

"Eh? In a place like this?" I asked.

"There's no mistake that this is really powder from the horns," he said again.

I tried to carefully dig into the ground beneath my feet. I can't move recklessly. If I rush, the most significant consequence will be destroying Abla itself.

With a bit of Black Pearl's power, I started to dig until I touched a hard textured hard object. From there, the magic soot began to show, and the deeper it got, the stronger the soot became.

"There you are," our three great-grandchildren.

Suddenly the door creak sounded from behind my back. The murderous aura started to make my hair stand on end.

Tap!

A blood-colored hand tapped my shoulder. I quickly filled my hand with black magic and punched it.

"Wait!" shouted the person.

"Timothy?! How can you──"

Timothy just scratched his head with a grin.

"You have to explain to me later! Now help me get this out!" I pointed at the hole.

Timoti's nose snorted loudly when he smelled a rotten and fishy smell from the hole. With a reluctant face, he inched back.

I gently took his hand. "Do it!" I ordered while smiling at him.

With a scary face, Timothy tried to pull his hand from my grasp. "A! A! You can't force me to do this. This is too much!" he refused.

"You must do it! Because if I did, this item would be a problem!" I forced.

After five minutes of tug-of-war with the stuff.

"Hah! Hah! Do wizards nowadays have strong physical strength?!" asked Timoti breathlessly.

After that, he started helping me to dig the place not long after.

"What's this?" asked Timoti through the cloth covering his mouth and nose.

From the dug hole, magic soot sprayed up to penetrate the rafters.

"There's no joking, it's Abla!" said Black Pearl in disbelief.

Then I peeked into the hole. What a wonder! I saw a white deer with beautiful markings on its body for the first time. Its fur looked so soft even though it was covered in dried blood, but its horns...

"Does he only have one horn?" I asked them both.

"Hah! Are you kidding?" asked the Black Pearl.

Then I showed him by pulling the deer out. Suddenly footsteps came towards us.

Hera! Lavanya said warning me.

Duak!

The sound of the door being kicked in was loud.

I can only see the humans in red entering and confusion from up high.

"Haaaaa!" Hercules's roar echoed up to my ears.

Timothy could only be surprised and breathed a sigh of relief, seeing that we were safe from those red people. But where did this half of Abla's horns go?

Without thinking otherwise, I took Timoti to continue our journey.

"Black Pearl, is this half-horn enough?" I asked.

"I think that will suffice," he replied. "What did they do with half of it?" he asked, monologue.

"I don't know what exactly they did with Abla. The fact is that only a few know about Abla's whereabouts, and that makes me astonished by their knowledge," interrupted Lavanya.

During the trip, we only thought about half the horn and, of course, nothing. When the sun starts to turn red as night is coming, I plan to rest and lower my altitude.

The white fluffy clouds started to turn red, and the land came into clear view. I don't know where we are now; there's no sign of living humans around this area.

"Looks like this place is perfect for an overnight stay." I saw Timoti still deep asleep.

I slapped his face firmly to wake him up.

"Eeeee! What is it?" he shouted.

"We have arrived!" I replied curtly.

"Where?" he asked again.

"It seems his brain shifted when I slapped him," I scolded.

After making a bonfire for a while, we enjoyed the dark overcast night with a chilly breeze.

"So?"

"Em? What?" asked Timothy.

"What made them late to meet me at the barn?" I asked.

With a goofy smile, he starts the story.

"When you threw me, I made shield balls around my body and hit them. At first, I wasn't sure that the shield hit them, but it turned out that the attack hit Reina, which made them panic," he explained.

"Reina? Child from Savanna?" I asked.

"Yep!" replied Timothy.

While adding firewood, he continued his story.

"And I locked Reina inside my shield. When they got sidetracked by Reina, I went straight to meet you," he continued.

Genius. It never occurred to me how a mother could leave her tormented child inside that shield.

"My decision to take him is not bad," I thought.

After feeling big enough for the bonfire, I lay down on my back and immediately fell asleep.
