"I'm coming…" Jash sighed, taking one last look at the damaged wall.
Nelphy had already washed half of the dishes so she passed the chore to Jash the moment he returned. All the while Bil was frying the leftover rice to make rice cakes. Nelphy started helping cool and store the rice cakes so Bil could finish and pass the pot to Jash.
Once all the pots were washed, they were neatly stacked inside each other in order to fit in Bil's large backpack. But Bil stopped them from putting them inside and sat them down around the fire.
He patted the pots for a moment before they vanished from sight. Shrugging, Bil admitted, "From this point forward, I won't need to hide this from you… Nelphy, do you remember that vender selling that necklace?"
"Yes," replied Nelphy.
