With so many things to prepare and meetings to be had, Frantoch's last day of peace flew by faster than anyone would've wanted.
Construction of extra platforms along the town walls was finished Before daylight ran out. Squadrons and battalions were officially stationed and given posts. The chain of command was reestablished and reinforced so fewer errors would occur between orders.
Inside the city, news was spread to the citizens about the imminent siege, as was the promise of no attack before the next dawn. Though the news wasn't what the people wanted to hear, it was at least encouraging to not be left out of the loop.
Also, an unexpected declaration was posted throughout every district. That was the reason the citizens were able to breathe easier with the eventual siege looming over them.
