One week passed since the welcoming party. Everyone was in a group by now. Friend's circles had formed and the awkwardness had died down. The routine was somehow engraved in us. For a boarding school there were too many loopholes to exploit. After school outings and drinking. Sleepovers. Relationships. For a mixed gender school that was normal. This left the students to deal with the consequences on their own. This made the school popular. It was a double edged knife regardless.
These were the only rules set.
Lights off by midnight!
Absences from lessons are subject to suspension. In extreme measure can lead to permanent expulsion.
This was to give freedom but after some time you would know I also had its limits. Entry and exit anywhere was aided by student cards which would track your movement attendances and absences.
Caleb and I in one way or another were moving on our own. He became quite popular in a short time and was listed among the top hunks of the freshmen year. I was cheering on him every evening as I listened to the gossip going around. I was confident in my network.
Apart from Nick I got to make a few other acquaintances. Those were Moses who was a tech company young master. I knew him before coming here but I guess he had no idea who I was. He was quite capable of handling a few errands.
He was as bratty as he was as talented with devices. Timothy who was a poor but talented science researcher. He had a humble and sophisticated demeanor you wouldn't easily find. He had the instincts and the knowledge for the science field but only lacked practice.
I also got to meet a literature genius from next door to my dorm. He was called Bren. He was from a big family as well. He was quiet and docile. He only showed any active conversation when discussing famous poetry and literature professors.
I had a few girlfriends as well. In an innocent manner. They wanted to interact with me for popularity. They were smart and had a deep understanding of reality and life interaction. I could tell they were not sheltered princesses but aimed to make it big with their ability. Self Independent and ambition. A quality I always admired in a person.
They obviously approached for other motives but they stayed after being friends. I turned down any form of hope of relationship building but Andrea and Sophie stayed regardless. They mainly hang around me and I didn't hate that. I appreciate their beauty. Which at first glance would be confused as their main strength. Sophie and Andrea had a unique beauty rare in most women.
Sophie was a brunette with dark green-blue eyes and long legs and thick thighs. She had an above average bust size and had a confident stride to her walk. She loved tight clothes and had her phone on her at all times. Andrea was a blonde. She had pure light blue eyes and a sharp nose. She was slender and tall. She was on the other hand an elegant woman in everything she did. Both girls would be considered compass belles.
I was happy they spent time with me over all the rest. We didn't really do much other than host sleepovers and chat or watch a trending movie or series. It was fun. I had no romantic feelings towards girls let alone other boys so I was immune to their feminine charm in night dresses.
