The lady took her leave, leaving her daughter named Lily behind with Selene. Lily was dealing with enough awkwardness already and now watching the princess move back and forth in confusion made her wonder what was going through her head.
Just to feel a little less cumbersome, she decided to make a small conversation with Selene. Because ever since she walked inside her room, she felt like a diamond on display.
"Do you need something, your majesty?" She asked in a meek voice, hoping Selene would talk to her.
"No." Selene replied in an instant.
It took her a while before realizing she must have made her uncomfortable by her reply, she immediately added, "I am having a trouble at the moment and I wish I could find a solution." She said without looking at her.
"Oh! . . . do you mind sharing it with me, maybe I can help you, your highness?" She offered her insight, as she wanted to be useful to her.
